Stevosevic Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 On BBC radio Leicester they seem to think its going to Brian Little good or bad? i'm undecided on that one
Lester LXXIV Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 "Redknapp walks away" 'Arry leaves Pompey amid rumours he's been offered a higher salary elsewhere.....
Leicfox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 good or bad?i'm undecided on that one Good imo as a stop gap untill the end of the season.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I HOPE KEELEY THE PAGE 3 GIRL GETS IT!
Geo V Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Crazy knee-jerk reactions about RK. Ive spoken to a mate who is linked to the club and we he said the conference was about our two new Bosman signings who will join us in the summer. Trev Benjamin comes back along with Junior Lewis to supply him with the acurate through balls.
Blue Bob Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Had a scan around many of the web sites of newspapers and football sites. Hot rumour seems to be Paul Ince - No press conference has been announced on the Macclesfield site though. Any one seen any arrivals at the ground yet???
Leicfox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 It won't be Ince surely, so it leaves managers that are out of a job, here's my view in order but oblivously not my own preferences. Nigel Worthington Brian Little Howard Wilkinson Chris Coleman Mike Newell Brian Robson
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 its all a tad exciting isnt it I would use the word unnerving rather than exciting, with names like Peter Reid in the frame.
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 I would use the word unnerving rather than exciting, with names like Peter Reid in the frame. Don't believe the hype.
Head Honcho Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 On BBC radio Leicester they seem to think its going to Brian Little The club is in a similar position now as it was when he first took over and I'd welcome him back. He's the type of manager who might even be able to get the bunch of lightweights currently at the club to pull their weight. There are worse options out there.
Blue Bob Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 It won't be Ince surely, so it leaves managers that are out of a job, here's my view in order but oblivously not my own preferences.Nigel Worthington Brian Little Howard Wilkinson Chris Coleman Mike Newell Brian Robson I also hear that Kegan, Hoddle and Sven Goran Erikson are on the hunt. We might get three ex-England managers installed as joint managers - the tactics will be sublime!!!!
Thracian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 It won't be Ince surely, so it leaves managers that are out of a job, here's my view in order but oblivously not my own preferences.Nigel Worthington Brian Little Howard Wilkinson Chris Coleman Mike Newell Brian Robson Why all this fence sitting about Ince? What is it everyone seems to have against him?.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Why all this fence sitting about Ince? What is it everyone seems to have against him?. More importantly why does everyone think we're appointing our new permenant manager today.
Leicfox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 Why all this fence sitting about Ince? What is it everyone seems to have against him?. Im not against him Tharc, but they're has been no signs from the Macclesfield camp regarding press conferences and such.
Leicfox Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 More importantly why does everyone think we're appointing our new permenant manager today. Im not, my top 3 would all be on a temp basis.
MBK Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 More importantly why does everyone think we're appointing our new permenant manager today. Because we don't much have much time left till Norwich and because of the strange timing of the 'sacking'
Thracian Posted 11 April 2007 Posted 11 April 2007 More importantly why does everyone think we're appointing our new permenant manager today. Because the problem with caretakers is that they can temporarily excel themselves and become figures it would be unpopular - even unreasonable - to remove. We need a new direction, or a genuine revival of Levein's direction, and the new manager will need every moment he can get to prepare for next season.
