We hit more 6's than 4's! That can't happen very often! Do think we need to be better at manipulating the ball for 2s and look to pick gaps through the field by playing the ball along the ground more often. Seems like most of the batsmen are programmed to swing as hard as possible to hit 6's. Great if it comes off but too often we are skying it and getting caught on the boundary. Also, when you have hit one 6 at the start of the over and you are chasing 10 per over to win there really is no need to try to hit 2 or 3 more 6's in the over. Just play the percentages!

They want the right left bat combo during the power play though, which is why it’s done.

Still got a lot to develop especially in red ball cricket, and I think his length can sometimes be off. But his action, height and pace are properly properly exciting.

Bloody good job we bat deep and Neesham is a very good big name signing doing the job. The county do keep us on the edge of our seats but at least qualification for the QF is in our own hands
