Lennon leaving celtic

That might be worth humouring were it not based on further evidence that you never let anything you quote get influenced by what was really written. You'd do better in politics than insurance.

You'll be saying I'd turn down Liz Hurley next!

Hark at that!

Thracian accusing me of mis-representing other people's arguments!

This is from the man who from us saying perhaps Dodds was best off on loan for a bit that we were all dead against any young players every play for Leicester again ever.

Nice work Thracian. I really don't have to argue with you do I? You're quite capable of making yourself look a prat.

Surely she's a bit old for you, Thracian?! :dunno:

You probably would!

Liz: "Come to bed Thrac, I wanna a damn good seeing to! I've bought my friends Patsy Kensit and Heather Graham along as well for company!"

Thrac: "Sorry love, I've got to sit on Foxestalk all night and fight Louis Dodds' corner, he's gonna be the next big thing you know!"

I never mentioned Patsy Kensit!

Did you like my Louis Dodds song Thrac??

I thought it was quite catchy myself

Just read it and, with the general consensus on here about Dodds, I didn't imagine it was complimentary.

I find the innuendo amusing - and a few of my old female friends might too - but I do wonder if the cap really fits on you, the writer, given your apparent obsession with the subject.

Anyway I did come up with a ditty about Horse and Fryatt, but pre-match is not the time.

Hmmm, interesting. I must ponder ones thoughts

Former Leicester City star Neil Lennon has talked of his desire to return to the Premiership next season.

The Celtic midfielder said: "I fancy a fresh start somewhere for a year or two. I think I'll play in the Premiership.

"I have no worries about my fitness or state of mind as I've played more than 40 games again.

"I played in the Premiership for four or five years before I moved to Celtic. The quality hasn't improved that much in England since then.

"If a Premiership club wants me, I don't see why not. I'll see what suits me."

He must be on drugs. He isnt good enough for a year or two in the Premiership.

Can see him going to Sunderland in the summer.

I think Keane wont get him in at all. If anyone, he`ll go for his ex-team mate Nicky Butt to add some steel.

As opposed to... err... his ex-team mate Neil Lennon to add some steel.:P

lol mate but Lennon is getting on a bit and Nicky Butt you would have thought would have a littel more to offer at this stage of his career. The SPL is a poor league and Lennon trotting around in the midfield for Celtic as they cruise to the title doesnt really say that much about his current ability. You only have to see Lennon in Europe to see how out of his depth he is and the Premiership will test him big time at his age and he will be found wanting.

Lennon will go to Villa or Sunderland, I very much doubt he'll come here.....if no Prem teams want him then maybe, but I think Keane and O'Neill will definatley battle it out for his services.

Very much my thoughts, if no one else were after him or if we were in the prem i think he'd be happy to come back as a player/coach (if we wanted him), but both O'Neil and Keane rate him and both are managers of clubs that will be looking to do well in the prem next season.

Anyone reckon MON will go after him? Rumour has it he's already going after Boruc

I'd love to have Lennon back for a season, I only have two reservations

1) We should be looking at developing a lasting team, not just someone who wants to play for a couple of seasons and retire

2) IMO Lennon was at his best when he plays with attacking midfielders, which we lack. When he plays alongside Gravesen, the midfield is solid as fook but the ball is never anywhere near the net unless McGeady or Naka get a hold of it. Otherwise it gets passed back. Sound familiar?
