I just checked back and I can't find it, so maybe I actually read it in the paper. Either way, I'm rather sure there are larger clubs than us linked to him. Granted, newspaper rumour sections aren't exactly caste-iron fact - but I suppose there's no smoke without fire. You might have been right... I've a feeling it was Middlesbrough who were allegedly in for him.

Personally £1.5 million seems a little steep but you have to speculate............... no way!!! 1 decent season at league 1 level??? we can do better for a lot less money
