C-man Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 As far as I'm concerned the Premiership doesn't exist next year. Shame there's even less derby games next year
Jay Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 from one aspect it's good to see that it wasn't just the sides relegated going straight back up this year and proves that a massive turnaround is possible on the other hand it's derby....
Matt Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Knowing that I might get slaughtered for saying this, but...... weren't Derby just better today? Good luck to them, hope we can copy that success next year. Maybe it might be me being bias I don't know, but no, I really don't think Derby were the better team, West Brom started well, When Derby scored they did have a good spell, but West Brom finished the game well. West Brom didn't make enough of there chances but they certainly made the chances. As I said maybe its just me with a bias view though
Phlashman Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Looking on the bright side, we get to see Derby get thrashed week in week out next season.
Koke Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Looking on the bright side, we get to see Derby get thrashed week in week out next season. Not if they do a Reading or a Wigan.
Stevosevic Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Or Charlton, or Leicester, or Bolton, or Fulham, or a Derby etc...
JoeyB Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Derby are up i wouldnt of minded so much if they would of won 2-1 with howard 1st goal scorer had howard 2-1 45-1 and kamara 2-1 35-1
holly Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 They werent the better team but over the course of the season they have deserved it, something i hate to admit. Good luck to them, although i hope they lose every week, cant imagine Linekar being happy about having to talk bout them on MOTD hehe
Ultra Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 The baggies bottled it, simple as, just as the saints did in the semis. Credit to Davies for his tactics. He'll be sussed out big-time next season though. Derby will come straight back down. Apart from Barnes (whose knees are dodgy anyway) and maybe Pearson, they have NO quality at all within their squad. Let them gloat over the summer. We will take our revenge in a year's time as we pass them in the opposite direction!

Chairman of the Bored Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Poor match really. Let's look on the bright side. The Sheep Shaggers will come straight back down and the Baggies squad will be decimated. Gera, Koumas, Kamara, Ellington, McShane, Phillips et al to go - so that's one less team to worry about next season.
Joe. Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 This result has actually totally pissed me off. I really can't stand seeing Derby doing well... Begrudgingly though, they deserved it throughout the course of the season I suppose...
Ricey Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 Maybe it's because I'm not from Leicester but I'm not actually bothered about this. I support Leicester and I don't really give a sh*t what Derby, Forest, Cov etc do except when they are playing us. Credit to Derby, they deserved to go up.

Before I started working at where I work now I wasn't too bothered about Derby and when I come on the forums I used to think whats the fuss, Now where I work my boss is a Derby fan and the majority I work with are "Leicester fans" (I say "Leicester fans" because they only come out the woodwork when something happens or we are winning) but my boss knows I am a big Leicester fan so knows who to wind up, he was kind of winding me up on Friday, especially when he said "Who's tha nobody you have appointed as manager" - The toys nearly got trown out lets put it that way. Then he never went to any Derby games last season, only went to a few towards the end of the season so I said "You going Wembley" and he said "Well lets just say on my ticket it says 'Corporate'" which wound me up even more. Now tommorrow is gonna be hell.
