The People's Hero Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 Not too sure, but I think he came away unscathed disciplinary wise. He's a bit of a loose cannon on the temperament front. He's easily likely to get 6 reds over a season. We shipped out McCarthy and we need to keep our record up. I recommend bringing him in. And heckling him about the size of his manhood before every game to wind him up. Smallcock.
Blue Bob Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 Cant believe this b*llocks is still going!!!! Surely it is obvious that if we wanted McLeod we would have signed him by now and involved him in preseason. we dont want him MM said so.
RedOnRed Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 well tbh.. i dont mind a fiery chap in the team. passion might wake up some of the others. Definitely a good thing to have passion, the only thing is with McLeod is that he usually has to be subbed after his first yellow to prevent him getting a red and a long ban. If you keep him on after a yellow he'll be sent off. For just about all the single yellows he got last season he was subbed afterwards. Still got us loads of goals though despite getting subbed a lot, injuries and bans.
DB11 Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 I hope we're signing McLeod tomorrow so we can shut this damn thread
Tubes Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 I hope we're signing McLeod tomorrow so we can shut this damn thread like others have said, you do not have to click on it if you dont want to read or be involved with it
Kent Fox Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 I hope we're signing McLeod tomorrow so we can shut this damn thread And you have missed so much entertaining non-McLeod stuff.
RedOnRed Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Any signs of a press conference today announcing McLeod as a new player or is that old news that's not happening?
Ric Flair Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 Any signs of a press conference today announcing McLeod as a new player or is that old news that's not happening? It's all a bit queer. Lots of rumours, no substance.
RedOnRed Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 It's all a bit queer. Lots of rumours, no substance. Pink boas and leather shorts aside there's nothing queer about our players. Well, not that i'm aware of.
Kirky Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 mcleod as been linked with lots of clubs and i can see him joining a lower championship team as many clubs wont risk the money mk dons want, however i heard we had made a 1m bid risin to 1.4m for him.

As three of the five teams that finished below you got relegated, do you specifically mean one of the other two teams that finished directly below you last season - namely Hull and Barnsley?
Kirky Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 As three of the five teams that finished below you got relegated, do you specifically mean one of the other two teams that finished directly below you last season - namely Hull and Barnsley? i do not mean them clubs specifically i mean clubs that are smaller than ourselves and teams that bookies give less chance of gaining promotion than ourselves, teams like ipswich, norwich, colchester, palace, ect.
