Shouldn't be allowed to drink unless they've had a fantastic season and got promoted, or won us a league or F.A Cup. Other than that...

BAN THEM FROM BOOZE BENDERS MADDOG!

They should only be allowed to drink when we have the international break.

I know the Hammond, Porter and Stearman are known to be out and about, not sure about any of the others.

has anyone actually seen any players mullered the night before a game?

They are professional sportsmen and they shouldnt need telling not to drink before a game.

In fact, if i was the gaffer and found out any players had been out before a game id get them out the club immediately.

It just pure fecking disrespect for the fans

Overpaid, talentless fckwits :@

Should be an immediate two weeks wages fine for players drinking the night before a game and repeat offenders shipped out straight away.

I run half marathons and marathons and if you drink before a long run your performance goes down massively. Professional sports player doing this is disgraceful.

Irresponsible and unprofessional. Really, really unimpressed if this is true and want players doing this out of the club!

Agreed..never before a game but surely a couple of pints and a whiskey chaser at halftime would'nt do any harm!

Rob Kelly let the players get away with far to much this will NOT happen imo under Allen in his own words they may have "been a great bunch of lads" but they all took this piss out of Kelly.

As a club we have had a massive drinking culture for years and it needs to be stamped out

I totally agree, they are paid a huge amount of money in order that they keep their bodies in peak condition to enable them to perform. I too have heard worrying reports about Porter and Stearman in the past and these two young players need to be advised forcibly by a strong manager or booted out for their own good as well as the clubs.

Cheers.

If we all know Martin Allen as he is, he will most probably put them on a booze ban anyway, and make them run into a freezing cold river before and after every match incase they have drank !!

MA has just released or transfer listed most of the problem, best way to stamp out the problem. Just hope the new team dont pick up the habit!!

Considering nobody knows if this little story is true it makes me laugh that people are slagging them off!!! If you have really seen a player out the night before a game that they are going to play in I suggest you contact the club and let them know, clubs want to be told about this sort of thing. I'd also suggest you don't just say they were out drinking you should state where and when too.

Personally I think it's bollocks, the player/players would have to be idiots of the highest order to go out in Leicester the night before a game. I don't think they are that stupid no matter what some might think.

Can't really have any kind of meaningful discussion without backing up your claim with some substance.

So:

1. Who have you seen?

2. How often and before which games?

3. Where were they?

4. How late was it?

5. What were they wearing?

I don't see anything wrong with players going out every now and again, but it's a case of everything in moderation. However, I cannot criticise someone who has had a "bad day at the office" going out on a bender, even if that office is the Walkers. However, I also believe that if someone paid me £stupid per week to keep myself fit and in reasonable shape, I'd do it.

Could someone please remove these splinters from my backside? Ouch.

Would just like to say, always saw the likes of izzett, marshall, claridge, plus a load of others, in mozzy coast wednesday nights during our heyday. If we win then let them celebrate. Night before the game no. after yes, especially if we win.
