Maybes Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I'm going for Lee Cook at Loftus Road.Whattaboutyou? David connolly
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 He was "OK", but did we really not play anyone better than that? I think (Kenton, was it?) really made him look good that day.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Marcus Tudgay was pretty good both at Hillsborough and the Walkers.
Tommeh Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Leon Barnett for Luton on the opening day Andy Keogh for wolves at the walkers Chopra, Cardiff away Chris Brunt - Sheff wed at the walkers
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 June 2007 Author Posted 13 June 2007 He was "OK", but did we really not play anyone better than that? I think (Kenton, was it?) really made him look good that day. I couldn't think of anyone better. As Maybes says, Connolly was pretty good at the Walkers. Muamba impressed me for Birmingham at the Walkers. Freddy Eastwood was good away at Southend. Keogh and Kightly were good for Wolves last day of the season. Cook still impressed me more than any of those though. It's easy to say Kenton made him look good but he still looked more dangerous than any other winger I've seen this season that I can think of and it's not like Maybury or Stearman have been particularly brilliant either. Chopra and Brunt are both good shouts but I didn't go to either of those games, thank the lord.
Tommeh Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Cook was good for QPR as was Connolly who have been mentioned Didnt think much to other "big" players such as Nugent, Mcsheffery, Barnes, Kamara.
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Cook took us to pieces at times away from home. It was amazing that we only conceded one and that was a dubious penalty. I was very impressed with Steve Jones for Burnley when they beat us 1-0 at The Walkers. He was quick, direct and made our defence look shit.
Lester LXXIV Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Lee Cook at QPR, he stood out a mile, even next to the ginger steward!!
Simi Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 When Montella came on for Fulham ion the replay at Craven Cottage, he really did rip us apart. Keogh is another good shout, he was quality on the last day of the season.
James. Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Lee Cook at QPR, he stood out a mile, even next to the ginger steward!! She's my winner. Legendary.
Lester LXXIV Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 She's my winner. Legendary. Good 'ol Annie of Loftus Road!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Leon Barnett for Luton on the opening dayAndy Keogh for wolves at the walkers Chopra, Cardiff away Chris Brunt - Sheff wed at the walkers I'd say so.
Cat Burger Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Bjorn Runstrom, I really liked how good his touch was and also his general ineffectiveness, he's not really very good I just like this story: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...102&cpid=10
city1993 Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Chris Brunt was amazing for sheff wed that day at our place, if not him then I'd say Marc Nyygard for QPR down at the walkers aswell !!
Ultra Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Gabbi Agbonlahor of Villa was pretty tricky. I'm also told that Ricardo Fuller of Stoke turned us over at their place.
Leonisco Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Gabbi Agbonlahor of Villa was pretty tricky. Nah, Nissa had him in his back pocket all game. I'd have to say Montella for Fulham.
lee7 Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Bjorn Runstrom, I really liked how good his touch was and also his general ineffectiveness, he's not really very good I just like this story:http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...102&cpid=10 he could of had 3 or 4 goals when they played us at the walkers
Dames Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Andy Johnson - Sheff Wednesday away. (might aswell have been an opposition player)
dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Andy Johnson - Sheff Wednesday away.(might aswell have been an opposition player) Agreed, that was his worst performance at this club, fact.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Chris Brunt very good. I thought the Macclesfield centre half was pretty good as well . We did play them last season didn't we? God, how a crap season plays tricks with the mind.....
