colonel Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 Lets wait until we win a few games, Hell - let's wait until we win A game. Perhaps we should wait until we play together has a team. Those pre season games are going to be interesting, "Oi - pass it to ........ what's his name?" The kit looks a bit of a challenge as well! etc etc

hoooom Posted 28 June 2007 Author Posted 28 June 2007 I will probably start an Allen out thread, unless Leicester are in 10th place at worst say 15 games into the season. We need to make sure we stick with the playoffs for once this year, and i think the closest we have been behind the play offs in last few years is 3 points... after the first game loss of the season and we have never gone into the play offs or got to within 2 points or less
Daggers Posted 28 June 2007 Posted 28 June 2007 what teams do you think will make the top six next season, will Leicester be there? I'm pretty sure (not that I am going to check facts or anything) that everyone of your posts has said this. Do you just really like the question or do you not bother reading anything anyone says. But, seeing as you are demanding a Top 6, here it is: Chicken Tikka Jal-frezi Chicken Tikka Balti Balti Special Chicken Tikka Madras King Prawn Vindaloo Pepperoni Passion Domino's pizza

hoooom Posted 28 June 2007 Author Posted 28 June 2007 Maybe the Blackpool game will be a contest but i just want a good result. I would prefer though, a solid Leicester team performance, with good passing along the floor and effort from all the players and a draw than a poor performance and end up getting a bit of luck and a 1-0 win. I just hope we play well and the players show the fans that they do care unlike previous seasons.

Chimp Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 So sides who finish top 6 win every game do they? Please try to retain a little perspective and common sense. I'm pretty close to giving up on the LCFC forum and just discussing LCFC on the rare occasion with the good folks of GenChat. My point was that you ask 'what hype?', you only have to look at the title of this thread and some of the subsequent replies to see that there has been a plethora of wholly unrealistic hype and a lot of people, once again, seemingly being taken in by it.
Bojimha Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 WE CAN DO IT! I honestly believe this is it, it's gonna be the season we finally escape the bowells of the championship and secure our place in the prem where we can grace the fields of the the high and mighty once again.

No. Not without a barrow-load of luck and an unceasing effort from the squad. Even then we will be left with a squad totally, desperately under-qualified to compete in the Premiership it will be embarrassing. The reason Milan set a deadline of three seasons is for precisely the reason that it will take us 2-3 seasons to amass sufficient talent. I'm settled in for the long-haul.
