brookfox Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Is there a fee involved in this signing? Doesnt say in the press release - anyone know? I believe he'd been released by Reading hence was a free agent; free = no fee.
Ric Flair Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Is that based on the fact that Morfaw was training yesterday?Allegedly. No, the fact that Allen made offers to players yesterday morning. Job was made an offer over the weekend and K'aebi will make his decision by the end of today if reports are correct.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Is that based on the fact that Morfaw was training yesterday?Allegedly. No allegedly about it!
The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Free agent - Reading released him to find a new club. Believe the inside track was that his attitude left a little bit to be desired as he got led astray a bit by some of the rest of the younger lads whilst he was at Reading. Anyway - he'll be free to us.

Manwell Pablo Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Oscar the grouch was a absloute legend. I personally rate him higher than Sinbad the Sailor and Sooty.
The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Oscar the grouch was a absloute legend. I personally rate him higher than Sinbad the Sailor and Sooty. Yep. Spot on. Agreed 100%. Me and you, Mablo, we're like 2 (sexy) peas in a (very sexy) pod. Bam! That that, ladies.
mancunianfox Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Thats more than brightened up my day. Oscar was ace!
The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Can anyone spot a difference between him and Hayes? I bloody can't!
Zingari Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 the signings (as yet) seem to fall into two distinct categories ; doubts about their abilities / (relatively unknown) doubts about fitness / age
The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 My first born boy is going to be called Oscar. For the records, my first girl will be Juliet. I've also got an Isaac lined up. He won't be Jewish though.
The Reverend Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Oscar the Grouch Jonathan Hayes ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I hope he is good We've signed alot of players I know very little or nothing about which is worrying. However MA does have a very good track record RE signing players most people have never herd of and them turning out to be very useful.
Foxhateram Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Not sure about this signing, he sounds young and promosing but i hope he isnt the only winger we bring in! we need a bit of exepriance on one side of the wing in my opinion, because atm the whole midfield is full of inexperianced or unknown quantities. ok yes these quantities could prove to be better than any known player. As you can see im undecided.

The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 so were (relativeluy) lennon, guppy, savage and izzet - and look at what happened to them! Right - so which of those 4 is big bird? And which is the cookie monster? You have a right to an opinion, but I can't see the similarity between these 4 and ANY Sesame Street characters..

I agree it can be worrying but in this case MA will know a lot about him. With our recent track record with wingers it wont take too much for him to look good.
Kent Fox Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Right - so which of those 4 is big bird? And which is the cookie monster? You have a right to an opinion, but I can't see the similarity between these 4 and ANY Sesame Street characters.. Big Bird = Robbie Savage Obviously.
The People's Hero Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 Big Bird = Robbie SavageObviously. I stand corrected.
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I think Mark De Vries and Carl Cort should mud wrestle for the title of Cookie monster.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 July 2007 Posted 4 July 2007 I think Mark De Vries and Carl Cort should mud wrestle for the title of Cookie monster. De Vries would eat Cort for breakfast!
