Im still quite sure we wont be getting play offs, I said if we get Lee Hendrie JDJ (Already cancelled) and a decent left winger and a left back we might get top 10.
Ricey Posted 5 July 2007 Posted 5 July 2007 Delighted and suprised by this, certainly gets me excited about next season. I very much doubt he'll play right back, he doesn't look physically strong enough to play in that position in this division.

I think we’ll be alright next season. If we’re hovering around the play-offs at Christmas, I think with some shrewd business in January we might be able to muster a potential and promising challenge for promotion.

I know he is officially classed as a right back but seems very attacking. It will be interesting to see where he slots in but I would like to see him as a swashbuckling right-back. Well done MM who pointed him out to MA and well done to the whol elot of them for securing the deal. Its a shame he is only here on a 2 year deal though but that`ll do for now. Any idea how much he cost us?? morris1234 Posted 5 July 2007 Posted 5 July 2007 surely if he did play on the wing, say right wing, MA will look to also bring out his defensive qualities to get back and help the right back which would be a big improvement from last seasons poor midfield effort! i think he would be fantastic back up for defense but i think with his pace we should look to play him higher up the pitch!

Guest Posted 5 July 2007 Posted 5 July 2007 FANTASTIC!!! this guy looks amazing on the video and certainly an improvement on the headles chickens we usually end up with on the wings. i cant see him being right back with chambers signing and i think he'll be used down the right wing with hayes on the left. just a centre mid and a front man away from the prem methinks - lets hope the hendrie thing comes off and then maybe we can spend a few quid on a 20+ goal threat
