Phube Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Who wouldn't vote for this man!!!? London's Next Mayor!?
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 I hear this Independent is standing against him...trounces him on policy, respectability and personality. He gets my vote.
General Smuts Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Boris Johnson For Prime Minister Gets my vote simply for his rugby challenge in that chairity football game against the Germans
Finnegan Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Legend!!! Not really though, is he? It's all fun and games for you in Leicester. But how would you like it if he was elected to actually represent you? It smacks of Schwarzeneger as a governor. I mean, he might be a bit loveably dumb, he might be the Tory you're allowed, vaguely, to like. But good God. No.
James. Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Not really though, is he? It's all fun and games for you in Leicester. But how would you like it if he was elected to actually represent you? It smacks of Schwarzeneger as a governor. I mean, he might be a bit loveably dumb, he might be the Tory you're allowed, vaguely, to like. But good God. No. This is correct. The guy amuses me and is a refreshing change from the drab world of politics with his floppy hair and eccentricities but I'm very worried that this floppy hair and eccentricity may sway Londoners into voting for him. The comparisons with Arnie are justified, the big man is after all in charge of the 5th (?) biggest economy in the world and if we vote in Boris he'll become (allegedly) the 2nd most powerful man in the country... I wouldn't be surprised to see him win. People are stupid after all and the "yeah it'll be well funny" novelty vote could see him home. Oh dear.
Babylon Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Get him in, he'll sort all the mockneys and cockneys out.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 He's the only way on gods earth I'd ever voting Tory at a general election...assuming he was made leader. hahaha its basically getting Frank Butcher to run for London mayor!
