I take it theres no commentary on RL?
Is it not on the radio live?

Why on earth would a pre-season friendly be on the radio? :dunno:

Just got back. Didn't really learn anything new from today, everyone pretty much played to type. Cracking solo run and finish from Hume, and Weso :worship: top corner thunderbolt from 25 yards, hey, lets make it 30. Sorry to disappoint but the De vries "goal" was a 1 yard tap in.

Came on after about 70mins. He stroked a few passes around nicely and showed good awareness in the time he had. What you'd expect from him really.

Maybe because radio leicester have done a lot of pre-season friendlies on the radio?

Barcelona, Inter Milan, Celtic, etc...even the OXFORD away game last season was on the radio.

De vries and hume linked up very well. However de vries was the same old when he balooned a shot over the bar.

Humes goal was sheer class. Weso's was top drawer.

Stearman doing press ups....well that was just funny lol

He was poor really. Came on at half time, but didn't really do anything. Hardly touched the ball, didn't really show for a pass, looked slow, unfit and off the pace. He held the ball up nicely a couple of times, but we need a lot more from him.

Biggest news is Captain Stearman. I'm not gonna get carried away but it's a strange choice.

Don't read much into that.

last game against oadby people said that nielsen flapped at a corner or cross was there any of that today

Aye, I wouldn't say it's anything concrete but it's definately odd when N'Gotty, McAuley, Hume and Kishishev all played.

Christ is the guy in the bottom picture de Vries? fook me he really has got into shape, he looks lean and yet strong.

3079!..a new club record for Hinckley...that's a bloody good turnout for a pre season friendly
So is 30k odd. But what did we learn from the Barca game? Diddly squat.

Oh well, that's it then. RL out! Useless muppets.......

Did Stearman play in centre mid? What was Hellings like when he came on?

Stearman was CM, he had to be told to calm down by MA at the start, he looked all over the place (in a bad way). Hellings didn't really do much, he came on to play CM aswell, few nice touches, but not much else. Also fitted in at CB towards the end.

He had nothing to do really. At one point he came out with a flying Karate kick and completely missed the ball!

Decent game, bit feisty for a friendly! Was impressed with Clemence when he came on, aswell as Hellings. Also, some lad came on at left back (#19) came on and did well, didn't know who he was.
