I remember hearing that he was horrified that we used to be sponsored by a fast food product, and that he didn't at all agree with Elliott and Taggs boozy antics...ultimate pro - don't get that these days!! Isnt he a pundit on tv now, swedish tv I presume??

I spoke to him while he was injured and standing in the tunnel part (my old season ticket at filbert street was few seats away from the tunnel and at most half-times they used to leave the tunnel pulled back) and i wished him the best of luck and hoped he recovered soon. Then a few months later I went to the training ground and seen him again and got my photo taken with him and he said something like "I'm a lot happier and fitter than when I spoke to you that time at the stadium". I was gobsmacked he actually remembered me, I was only about 13 at the time too.

On his day, he was un-playable against. Even up against some of the fatest strikers in the league he'd have them in his back pocket.

WE had a Swedish exchange at our Church at Easter and I had 3 swedish 17 year old women staying at my house. They said Pontus is presenting the Swedish version of Match of the day. A kind of Scandinavian Gary Lineker.
