I hate the "americanism" of football when we have music played when we score!! would rather we made our own noise!!
Another example of the lack of originality in life today. Why any music? What's wrong with the good old fashioned goal celebrations? Why does anybody feel the need to have choreographed goal celebrations?

I'm of the grumpy old git frame of mind too - music for goals? Pah! I want rattles.

Still - the song title has a good ring to it

Henry was a ledge!

He sat next to me during the Pepsi Max Challenge tournament last year and is genuinely a nice fellow

I have his autograph somewhere

I've met him too.

He may be a sound bloke, but he is NOT a horn player!

i'd rather have no music played when we score just let us make our own noise but play the PHG when the team come out.

I like it :)

Shame her name isnt Leicester Dagger

I think the Chelsea Dagger Idea might of been Martin Allens Idea due to the fact the ran out the dougout when we scored and turned around and pointed to the players come look at this the crowd jumping around

Hooray. Someone with some common sense at last. :appl:

If you need a pop song played after a goal is scored, you're a ****wit. Go watch basketball or some other bollocks.

And while I'm at it (and for the millionth time), the PHG remix is a vomit-inducing, camp-as-Christmas abomination - and that senile old bugle-playing coffin-dodger wasn't much better. Just play the original recording, please.

God, what a nation of moronic, gibbering, slack-jawed, americanised, pop-culture obsessed twats we've become. Is it any wonder people come on here mouthing off about how bad the singing is at the match when any attempts at singing are drowned out by some inane dross from the latest 5-minute wonder.

Christ on a bike.

Should definitley be a Kasabian track.

Perhaps their latest, Fast Fuse?

Maybe they could release it early, to be played in our first home game, like a sort ok Walkers Stadium premiere?! lol

But it probably wouldnt get played lol lol lol

Why do football clubs feel the need to pander to kids like this? Really pisses me off. I'm not exactly ancient but we haven't got much left of the sort of "matchday experience" I used to have when I first started going down Filbo. I was 5 years old when I first started going and I didn't need them playing MC Hammer when we scored.

I've just negated my point completely. That would have been awesome.
