Is Rab Douglas still a Leicester Player?

Recommended Posts

I've looked through a couple of different sources and the answers differ, he is still being mentioned in the Martin Allen notes he posts on the OS, one saying he did some coaching, BBC Sport says he's gone, I don't think he's on the "players" bit on the OS and he hasn't been given a squad number? Whats he doing?

Working with the goalkeepers and generally passing the time of day. Being fair he's always been doing something to make himself useful when I've seen him.

It's not his fault we gave him such a long and lucrative contract.

I wouldn't turn it down! I heard that at start of last season that he thought he would be sold and didn't want to because he and his family had settled here and were enjoying it!

I thought he was on the coaching side ...

Why carnt MA release him ?

Why would he want to release him?

He's contracted to us and we must honour his contract, we may as well use his experience to bring our keepers on!

Ye, unless he was offered / accepted a coaching contract I'd keep him on his player cotnract solely for his experience and coaching skills. Not like we need to offload his wages is it ;)
