The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I don't care what's happening.... I'm officially bored of football. Bunch of under worked, overpaid toss bags. That didn't take long. You're right of course. Hippies, the lot of them. Except with lots of money and without the cool clothes and the strange emphasis on tolerance, love and peace. Neo-Fatalist-Hippies I call them (and indeed they call themselves). I hate labels.
Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 That didn't take long. I thought I was looking forward to it... actually I was just looking forward to an all dayer. The football just ended up getting in the way. I realised i've lost my football mojo as soon as I saw our wingers.
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 I don't care what's happening.... I'm officially bored of football. Bunch of under worked, overpaid toss bags. Do you think Bob and Bocadillo made this up?
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Upon moving in to my flat, what should I find but Fred Dibnah and Fred Dinenage discussing their finest tv moments in my boiler cupboard.

Which in a way is good, it then means that the impending defeats won't hurt as much. Sadly, they still do, even when we claim the football's not the important bit of the day. Allen will sort them out.

Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Do you think Bob and Bocadillo made this up? Certainly not, I've never known them to make stuff up. I heard some whispers from other people that Allen had either decided he didn't want him or cocked it up.
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 Certainly not, I've never known them to make stuff up. I heard some whispers from other people that Allen had either decided he didn't want him or cocked it up. So it's off then?
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 So it's off then? Right, where's that catapult? I'm going in.
Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 So it's off then? I have no idea. I've decided i'm just going to get drunk at work to numb my pain.
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 I have no idea. I've decided i'm just going to get drunk at work to numb my pain. I'd like to see what Matt thinks. He's fastly becoming my favourite poster on here, the man's an absolute penis.

Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 You're not an airline pilot are you? Put it this way you don't want to be flying to Ibiza today.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Groovy baby, yeah.I've decided I'm going to dress like Austin Powers in future. Flowery shirts and suede jackets you mean? Or even more like Austin Powers?
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Put it this way you don't want to be flying to Ibiza today. Oh I do. Just not where the younguns go. Me and you Babs - in the sunshine. What do you reckon?

Manwell Pablo Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Put it this way you don't want to be flying to Ibiza today. Surely theres nothing wrong with drink driving a plane. It's not like your going to collid head first with a tree or have a head on collision with another plane is it. Taking off and landing would be a bit interesting but more than possible after a few pints? If I was a train drive I would drink drive, theres a job you can't fuk up.
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Flowery shirts and suede jackets you mean?Or even more like Austin Powers? I want a crushed velvet suit. And one of those really fluffy/flowery tight shirts. And some strange shoes. And I'm painting my teeth brown. Grrr!
Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Oh I do.Just not where the younguns go. Me and you Babs - in the sunshine. What do you reckon? Go on then.... as long as you put some suncream on my back and we don't talk football.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 What are you up to this Saturday Austin? (I'll only keep calling you that if you give the correct answer)
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Go on then.... as long as you put some suncream on my back and we don't talk football.Fred Dinenage is insisting he's allowed to come. Nick Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I wish all headlines were like that. None of this "Jimmy worth the Hassel for Leicester" rubbish.Let's get straight to the point. "LEICESTER. Idea, Hasselbaink." Bosh, job done. I love it. I have a feeling, Fez that we shall see movement this week in striker signings. ( The caterering gossip column are wet at the thought ) I could see a big man and possibly another being seduced by Milan.... ( What a dreadful thought ) Though I could see this being at the expense of fryatt and possibly another. ( I can see MA and MM sitting in an office saying. They are great tryers, worked hard in pre-season but simply aren't good enough for top six finish. I'd settle for a left winger / creative mid - and a striker. ( this week.....! ) You know when you really need to win and you are sat at the roulette table and you've lost three spins in a row - do you consolidate or do you chuck on three times your stake to get it back in one go. Mandaric has spent hard, though carefully - if he looks at what he as realistically - no disrespect to Blackpool perfomance and not passing judgement on one performance / game and all that, does he have a top six side ? DOES HE ****. And he will know this. He's not a daft man and he's seen enough football games and teams to realise this. We lack four quality players in four positions - and that's assuming HK is the dogs preverbials. Watch this space - There is a milionaire out there who needs crowds and points week in week out. N.
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Time for Milan to put his bollocks on the table.... to use a senseless, meaningless, reactionary and over-the-top statement which sounds incisive and full of impact at first, but the more you think about it, the banality shines through.
