"shadow" striker/attacking midfielder
Able deputy. We can't have room for sentiment. I think Campbell is a better player than Hume.

I go with the Fezington on this one.

I haven't ate for ages :ermm:

There really is always quite a wide range of opinions on how people have played. Perhaps it depends whereabouts you sit :dunno:

A bit off topic but Robbie Fowler anyone?!

How many would he have bagged today?!

That's an easy question to answer definitively.

He'd have scored none. He's injured and couldn't play today.

hasslebaink for player-manager. i love hasslebaink as a player, hes amazing. but i can just see him as a manager, in his big coat sucking a lollypop

someone needs to tell him strikers dont make the best of wingers, central mids, full backs or centre backs..... and they make the most awful keepers too...

how many does he want!? lol

Would love to see Hasselbaink and Campbell up front. The right combination of pace, strength and energy and both capable of 15+ goals. JFH is capable of the same sort of holdup play that MDV specialises in but is a better finisher and more mobile even at the age of 35.

Be nice to have a striker who's not only strong but has a bit of pace as well.

Totally agree!!

More convinced than ever that Hasselbaink is a step backwards to what we have already

Wouldn't mind them! Would this mean a striker could be on the move!?

I should think so, with us being after riordan aswell you would think MA isn't totally happy with our strike force. if we got JFH and Riordan we'd have them 2, hume, campbell, MDV, Cort and Fryatt. With exception to hammond and sappleton etc. Surely we cant keep them all happy. I should think Fryatt will be going, the kop chanted his name when he came out to warm up but he wasn't bought on. i wouldn't be suprised if fryatt left to be honest.

It's a reall shame Fryatt isn't getting a look in, he's a good player, can be a match winner! I'm not a massive fan of Hasselbaink, I don't want another player coming here for his final payday, Murphy, Please get him in, he was what was missing in midfield yesterday, and hopefully that would stop DEFENDER Kishishev taking our free kicks!
