lildave3 Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 "shadow" striker/attacking midfielder  Able deputy. We can't have room for sentiment. I think Campbell is a better player than Hume. I go with the Fezington on this one. I haven't ate for ages
Mikey Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 We don't have to build our team around hume!!Thought hhe was poor today! I thought he was good !
Milky Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 There really is always quite a wide range of opinions on how people have played. Perhaps it depends whereabouts you sit
Alexikokopops Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 MA doesn't want him (Hasslebank) here. I think this can now be put to bed. Interesting, very interesting.
The Reverend Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 A bit off topic but Robbie Fowler anyone?! How many would he have bagged today?!
lookwhaticando Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 A bit off topic but Robbie Fowler anyone?!How many would he have bagged today?! That's an easy question to answer definitively. He'd have scored none. He's injured and couldn't play today.
D4 Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 hasslebaink for player-manager. i love hasslebaink as a player, hes amazing. but i can just see him as a manager, in his big coat sucking a lollypop

Parky Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 This is on the BBC gossip page....... Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric wants to bring striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to the club after he was a made a free agent by Charlton. (People)
MPH Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 This is on the BBC gossip page.......Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric wants to bring striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to the club after he was a made a free agent by Charlton. (People) someone needs to tell him strikers dont make the best of wingers, central mids, full backs or centre backs..... and they make the most awful keepers too... how many does he want!?
pazey69 Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Would love to see Hasselbaink and Campbell up front. The right combination of pace, strength and energy and both capable of 15+ goals. JFH is capable of the same sort of holdup play that MDV specialises in but is a better finisher and more mobile even at the age of 35. Be nice to have a striker who's not only strong but has a bit of pace as well. Totally agree!!
Cal Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 No too bothered about JFH, but Murphy would be immense.
MBK Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 More convinced than ever that Hasselbaink is a step backwards to what we have already
Toby or not Toby Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Wouldn't mind them! Would this mean a striker could be on the move!?
pazey69 Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Wouldn't mind them! Would this mean a striker could be on the move!? I should think so, with us being after riordan aswell you would think MA isn't totally happy with our strike force. if we got JFH and Riordan we'd have them 2, hume, campbell, MDV, Cort and Fryatt. With exception to hammond and sappleton etc. Surely we cant keep them all happy. I should think Fryatt will be going, the kop chanted his name when he came out to warm up but he wasn't bought on. i wouldn't be suprised if fryatt left to be honest.
Little Nicky Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 It's a reall shame Fryatt isn't getting a look in, he's a good player, can be a match winner! I'm not a massive fan of Hasselbaink, I don't want another player coming here for his final payday, Murphy, Please get him in, he was what was missing in midfield yesterday, and hopefully that would stop DEFENDER Kishishev taking our free kicks!

Geo V Posted 12 August 2007 Posted 12 August 2007 Im not sure how an Italian site has got hold of this, maybe from the tabloids but http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?action=read&idsel=2098
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2007 Author Posted 13 August 2007 What on earth's going on then? I'm confused.
teblin Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 What on earth's going on then? I'm confused. Nothing i don't think.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Im not sure how an Italian site has got hold of this, maybe from the tabloids but http://www.transfermarketweb.com/?action=read&idsel=2098 I wish all headlines were like that. None of this "Jimmy worth the Hassel for Leicester" rubbish. Let's get straight to the point. "LEICESTER. Idea, Hasselbaink." Bosh, job done. I love it.
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 What's all this then? It was all catapults, toy trains and hair-pulling when I last checked. *pulls Fez's hair* (No Returns).
Babylon Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I don't care what's happening.... I'm officially bored of football. Bunch of under worked, overpaid toss bags.
