Daggers Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 ...because anyone can alter what it says on Wikipedia. Apparently so. It is sooooo funny.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Murphy_...er_born_1977%29 This one too.
Charnwood Norris Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Floyd_Hasselbaink Ric, your gonna stink like the biggest pile of poo pants if this is pants. I can see a turtle head poking through already.
FleckneyFox Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Theyve been edited because wikipedia dont put it on usually until a couple of hours after it becomes official and on the right where it sais senior clubs Leicester aint there
He's not bald Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Not to piss on your bonfire but Danny Murphy and JFH are not going to get the ignorant Leicester City footballing public flocking to the Walkers. Aint pissing on my bonfire, but it would have sold tickets for sure regardless of what you think..
MPH Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 If there is any shred of truth in this I doubt MA would have been directly involved in the negotiations. according to a former player who lives in leicester still, MM does all the contract negotiations
Daggers Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 With 48% of people here saying they are both coming and another 48% stating as fact that they aren't...there are going to be some really dumb looking buggers on this forum come next week. I suggest that a load of you come join the positively maybe & wouldn't it be nice camp
Kilworthfox Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Yesterday's News Although it was news yesterday and we have heard this before it does suggest that these signings are what we are looking for! "Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric has promised as many as four more new signings before the transfer window closes at the end of the month. The Foxes have already signed 12 players over the summer - including striker DJ Campbell from Birmingham in a deal which could eventually be worth £2.1million - and Mandaric insists he will continue to hand manager Martin Allen his chequebook in pursuit of promotion. "We have bought very well but there is still a lot ahead of us," Mandaric told Sky Sports News. "The manager has come to me with a lot of names but give us time, we hope to make two, three or even four signings very soon. "We are aiming for the Premier League but it is going to be very hard and competitive and an interesting season because the Championship is a very powerful league - one of the best four in Europe. That is why we need a big squad." Murphy & JFH fit the bill?

reynard Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Can't believe this hasn't been closed. Utter rubbish.
Steven Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 The moral of this tale is be highly selective about you believe from TalkingBalls.
Kilworthfox Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Clutching at straws really with that. Could you explain that response for me.... This is a direct quote from yesterday, gone are the days of naming signings before they have signed. This states that we are going to buy players in the hope that we gain promotion this season or will be in contention. DM & JFH are quality players for this division This is supposition from fact with reliable sources inc my source from last week which I accept only I know about. The only reason not to believe what informed people have said is your sense of unrealistic possibilities and pessimism

The only reason not to believe what informed people have said is your sense of unrealistic possibilities and pessimism But to think with that interview we are going to sign DM and JFH is a bit too speculative for my liking. I just can't imagine Allen suggesting those players to Mandaric on Monday, remeber he went for Dj campbell over Fowler and JFH is as big a player as Fowler.

Daggers Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 I'm amazed that there hasn't been a rush to temp agencies to get more catering staff for tomorrow
Kilworthfox Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 I'm amazed that there hasn't been a rush to temp agencies to get more catering staff for tomorrow There is still time for recruiting! not that i would know
MADLEVEIN Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 i posted earlier about what i heard, (friend of a friend was solid to put it right) then to add to all the rumours i went down the ground after i posted earlier to get my son the new away kit and asked to have hasselbaink printed on the shirt, the reply i got was "how the fcuk does he know" and lots of cheesy smiles and grins. at the end of the day i aint really bothered, i think we will do good as we are, we are in much better shape than last year and should challenge a promotion spot at least. c'mon city

General Smuts Posted 10 August 2007 Posted 10 August 2007 Well we are 1 minute into the day we sign Hasselbaink and Murphy. If this comes true i will be the first to have renounced its glory (today). If it is a lie i shall be the first to grab the pole for Ric Flairs head.
Blue Fox Posted 11 August 2007 Posted 11 August 2007 When your signing when your signing Murphy signs with you When your scoring when your scoring Humey scores with you
