I think Leicester City should re sort to a ticket ballot....

The more away games you go the more chance of getting a ticket (s)

Get onto Peter Jones then, With all honesty theres been hundreds getting wound up about tickets, about 10 of you will complain.

Good stuff.

I think they do, I got turned away last season for not turning up on the right day by some women in the ticket office.

Although my friend who I was with is good friends with Jim so we went to him and he gave us the tickets for the game :)

Favouratism eh??? :o:D

To be honest the priority system doesnt seem to work anymore anyway as they have no record of what priority you are on computer as far as I know. I picked up three plymouth tickets today when in theory they should only be on sale to priority two season ticket holders. As far as Im aware, Im priority 2 but the other people I got them for are priority three.... The whole thing needs looking at from scratch.

I'll write a email to him tomorrow. ;)

I think a number of clubs do the ballot system, also it works fine with England Fans Members Club :)

Yes you could say that.

THey used to stamp your ST i believe, When you right an email to PJ, don't just give him a load of abuse, becasue that gets us nowhere, give him your idea's on howto improve the situation.

This wouldn't have occured if they had stuck to the usual plan P1 - monday, p2 - tuesday, p3 - wednesday, gen sale thursday, but oh no they changed it and hardly made it known to the fans. People are hardly going to refresh ticket news every 10 minutes are they?

I also think they've been understaffed, I mean I've heard countless complaints about email's not being returned phone callers on hold for upto 2 hours! And when I went in this morning bang on 9am with a 30 minutes queue out the door, only 3 of the positions were open out of the 8 or so available, I mean come on!

Dont think the ballot system would be any use,as im sure you will be aware that for most away games, this is not a problem.

its just a game of this calibre has highlighted any such deficencies in the system.

It should have atleast been JUST 1 Forest ticket per ST holder..was it??? :dunno:

To be honest there is nothing wrong with the current away priority scheme in my opinion. This is the first time ive ever known it to fail and thats down to a cock up on the O/S's part not in the actual system. Change the priority card system and thats another benefit of having a season ticket wiped out!

This is my Example of LCFC ticket ballot & Fan numbering. AWAY GAMES ONLY

LCFC FAN NUM | SURNAME | STH OR NOT | GAME APPLYING TICKETS FOR | TICKETS NEEDED |

000012.............. Mr Fox...........STH................ Nottingham Forest..........................5

If people need more than one ticket they put there friends fan numbers fown aswell as theres.

If they have been sucsesfull in the ballot they will recive an Email or SMS

The more away games you go to the more likely chance you are at getting tickets

I've been told by some people that they will be going on sale tomorrow.

However this hasnt been confirmed.

My surgestion is to ring the ticket office up tomorrow EARLY AS POSSIBLE and try to order ticket (s) for your self and friends.

I hope this helps :)

Yeah that kinda helps only thing is I have to work tomorrow so I cannot personally be there but I do have someone going for me at 9am to the ticket office.

Cheers for the detail though if it werent for this I'd be drowning my sorrows.

I mean FFS only missed one away match last season and this is how I am repaid.

I shall be optomistic till the end though

I think it can only be fair if you allow one per season ticket holder though. I would be annoyed if 4 of your friends went who wernt season ticket holders based on a lottery. I have bad enough luck in the real lottery without losing out in this one too!

I don't think with the quick turnover in time that this would work.

Last Thursday Night the fixtures for the next round was announced.

By Monday they were selling them.

It would be a nightmare if the Club had to deal with these emails and requests and have to reply to them and sort out who gets whta tickets etc...

In my opinion,it would be chaos!!!

If your friends wernt season ticket holders you would put on the application form NOT STH. And if they wasnt you and you friends would be lowerd in the pecking order ....

If there was tickets left you could apply for more tickets ...

Surely A system based upon how many Away games you've been to would be better. Must agree with Syston Fox though, T'was a lack of telling the fans which caused the problem.

I'm 16 I'll be going, standing and singing as always. I go to my fair share of away games, Palace cost me around £40 in total, I'd say that was a lot of money.

I think I spent at least £160.

Whoops.

I think that's more to do with the 2 night stay though.

I messed up Lisa.

For some reason i thought Monday was for Priority ST holders

i.e Those who go away, get ST's stamped saying they've been away, hence are classed as priority.

Do they still do this??? :dunno:

Usually it's Priority 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 3 on Wednesday, Members on Thursday and General on Friday.

However membership seems a bit pointless when they decide to open it up on the same day to the general public as they did today.

Which is a tad annoying.

Exactly.

The thing is the Plymouth tickets are on sale, at the same time. Surely it would be easier to keep to the old routine?

What's with this Priority business? :dunno:

In an ideal world, everyone who wants to go should, but we don't live in an ideal world. Therefore, I would give priority to those who do go more often to away games than those who don't. This is how it is supposed to work, and I am pissed off for those who aren't going next week, but got a good soaking last week, without which this game would not be going ahead.

Yeah like me..I walked to that game from the hotel near the motorway Junction so I could have a beer, got soaked to the skin, thought I would be able to get a ticket yesterday being a STH...could I fook!
