The Stig Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I phoned dead on 9 this morning and they said they were in the post but didn't say where I'd be sitting, also people on here have been saying its unfair on regular away day fans who didn't get tickets, but don't forget there wil be a lot of fans who don't go to away games simply because they can't get there. It would be impossible for me to get to a game outside the Midlands. This doesn't make you any less of a fan if you can get to this but not others. I'm also away EVERY weekend more or less with our family buissness so I go to every mid week game I can possibly get to, home or away, most of the time its home simply because I can't get to away games.
Maybes Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I heard there's a pub at the away end? Is that true? They wont serve alcohol at the game.
adam Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I heard there's a pub at the away end? Is that true? Not sure, usually drink near station. Hooters is always a good start! I think they sold lager in the away end tho
Nath Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 They wont serve alcohol at the game. Won't sell alcohol in a pub? I think the pub is outside the ground btw...
Maybes Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Won't sell alcohol in a pub? I think the pub is outside the ground btw... well yeah if its a pub.
Simi Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Row Y Anyone know how far back it goes? Not much further.
C-man Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Feel for the regulars who didn't get tickets. I went Plymouth last year so no-one can complain about me getting one
lee7 Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Row Y Anyone know how far back it goes? i'm on row z
syston_fox Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Feel for the regulars who didn't get tickets.I went Plymouth last year so no-one can complain about me getting one And my Plymouth tickets were ordered at the same time as my Forest ones so I think Im with you on that one! God bless my mum for sitting on hold for an hour this morning while i was at work!
Maybes Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 And my Plymouth tickets were ordered at the same time as my Forest ones so I think Im with you on that one! God bless my mum for sitting on hold for an hour this morning while i was at work! You need to earn some serious brownie point now.
Wilkesy Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 And my Plymouth tickets were ordered at the same time as my Forest ones so I think Im with you on that one! God bless my mum for sitting on hold for an hour this morning while i was at work! Yer, shes good to you! You wouldn't have been able to put yourself through another morning of U2's Beautiful Day
MC Prussian Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 33 pages... and the game hasn't even started yet!
syston_fox Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 You need to earn some serious brownie point now. Tell me about it! She's not even a football fan and Im pretty sure she doesnt like U2's "beautiful day" so I owe her big time. In fact after sitting on the phone for 20 mins on monday afternoon trying to get through, I'll be happy if i never have to hear that song again.
Maybes Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 You could just park on the street as car reg's are the same for the midlands, so Forest fans wont know which car to smash?Unless they look at your tax disc Even though my car was purchased in manchester?
Nath Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Ah, But are they clever enough to realise this? Maybe the cricket ground car park would be available? no more than £5 if it is, surely?!
The Stig Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 I used to like Beautiful Day, not anymore, the greatest of songs would get boring after an hour!
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2007 Posted 21 August 2007 Just wondering. Surely this ticket fiasco could be something that our lame and useless (FOXES) Trust could be doing something about, or at least voiceing our displeasures at the matter, seeing as they are the "voice of the fans" ...... unless they have actually held their hands up and admitted they are useless???
