Night match against one of our local rivals and the chance to lord it over the fact they're in League One. The atmosphere is nailed on.

Or we could just stick with 'scum', which, aside from being relatively funny, is pretty damn accurate. I was wondering why anybody would want to read F*rest forums actually. I guess it's humourous in a way, but for pure entertainment value that lot are up there with Jimmy Cricket and the Krankees. They still have some work to improve on Chucklevision though. Looks like we'll be having the first AND last laugh on the berks

Surely that means the city fans will be seggregated? Or are the stands next to each other? I have the feeling that the atmosphere will be unreal in the 4000 block but not so much in the clough stand?

I think the 4400 are in the Brigford End (Lower) and the "extra" 900 in the Brian Clough stand adjacent to the Brigford Lower.

It is our 'cup final', as shown by the demand for the tickets. The atmosphere is by no means guaranteed - we had a night game there against them a couple of seasons ago, on a Friday perhaps (can't quite remember), and it was absolute shit. Mind you, if you judge the support at Palace as 'fantastic', then by that yardstick it is guaranteed to be good at least.

I was trying to get tickets for others, all of whom went to Palace unlike about 4,000 of the people who are going to Forest. I'm not going to let their mistakes placate me though. I'm still angry that their incompetence could easily have meant I missed this game.
