NFFC Chris Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 And you get to listen to one last song before your demise, entirely your choice what would it be?Mine would be Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me by The Smiths, though it's not exactly cheery it is a song of pure genius, the best part of ever of any song imo is when the track goes from piano into vocals, absolutely incredible.Running it closely would be How Soon Is Now also by The Smiths where the lyrics are pure genuis and it is such a powerful track and Shiny Happy People by R.E.M. where I would certainly pop my clogs with a smile on my face!
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Very possibly "Megalomania" by Muse. The mood'd be right, anyhow.
Zingari Posted 23 August 2007 Posted 23 August 2007 i'd like to hear the theme tune to "just for laughs " and someone come out to tell me it was just a joke and i'm not going to die
Fez of Mahrez Posted 23 August 2007 Posted 23 August 2007 Goldie - Mother And in that hour I'd be figuring out how to stop myself from dying. Resourceful.
Lillehamring Posted 23 August 2007 Posted 23 August 2007 nine feet underground by caravan - great tune and clocks in at 29 minutes, well, might as well drag it out as long as possible, plenty of time for a last beer or a quickie....
Finnegan Posted 23 August 2007 Posted 23 August 2007 Blaise Bailey Finnegan III. I'd like to think that if I don't die ranting, someone in the background will be doing it for me.
Blue Bob Posted 23 August 2007 Posted 23 August 2007 Sorry but if I am going to have a last request - I would rather have a shag then listen to a tune. Or if possible could I shag Britney Spears while she sings Baby one more time, the tune is irrelevant I just want to be able to walk through the pearlly gates and say to St Peter "I just shagged Britney Spears" and high five the dude!!!

I guess at least you wouldn't have to worry about the longer-term, erm, 'consequences' of such a misguided action.

Well if you picked a song that lasted a good while then maybe you could have your last wish
Chairman of the Bored Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Heaven Gets Closer by Another Pretty Face.
Kent Fox Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Bohemian Rhapsody for my last song. Just that bit longer... Unless I can have the full 1812 Overture??That way I go out with a bang..
pete Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Terveet Kädet - Jeesus Perkele At least it's short enough, don't have to wait any longer
The People's Hero Posted 4 September 2007 Posted 4 September 2007 Blur - No Distance Left to Run. With lots of people around me crying. You can't beat a bit of melodrama and faux sincerity as you die.
Pete_foxes Posted 9 September 2007 Posted 9 September 2007 ooh.. good question. Castles in the Sky by DJ sammy. That'd be good, or if I fancied a slow song it'd be that one by Elton John.. I think its called your song I think i'm going to have to put it in the CD player ready.
The People's Hero Posted 10 September 2007 Posted 10 September 2007 If I was a sculptor... but then again no....
David O'Leary Posted 17 September 2007 Posted 17 September 2007 If I was a sculptor... but then again no.... Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show...
