Well done - I'm properly jealous, when I move a bird in the first thing we'll be doing.is getting chocolate lab

They're lovely dogs. I've only been supervising for a couple of hours and she goes from mental play mode to whining to hiccupping to playing. It's exhausting!

Heading back up to uni - delighted to have finished work for 4 weeks: this last week has not been fun - the office and/or BT keep cocking everything up and turning what should be a half-hour bit of work with one dispatch into a days work with 3 separate dispatches

 

Still, 4 weeks then I start all over again, with the added bonus of less staff...

Off tomorrow on a 6 day lads trip to the country for a 3 day horse racing carnival. Then go off to another country town for 2 nights with another group of mates for a music festival. Can't wait but my liver says otherwise.

It's been a worrying week with some testing and upsetting moments. Got a bit sentimental tonight when I got home and this tune had me on the verge of roaring. I'm holding up.

I've got a Dave CD and trust me, this is classic Dave.

 

Got to keep my chin up so whacked on a classic vid I made years ago to remind me of some happy days.

The working mans club where some of those photos were taken has been knocked down because of some twathead doing fraud, so no more 50/50 dancing for the old dears. Shame, that club was just like Phoenix Nights and I would laugh just walking up to the entrance. I had a wazz stood next to the fake Freddie Mercury from a Queen tribute band in the urine trough there one night. Shit my pants when he turned to the side and looked me in the eye mid piss.

Had the worst night's sleep in ages. We're crate-training the puppy but I slept nearby so she didn't feel too abandoned. She whimpers and howls for 20 minutes then sleeps for 1 hour then starts again. On the plus side I caught all of the FLS. The downside was I was far too knackered to give a shit.

Just finishing off paintwork in my lounge in readiness for new carpet going in. Imagine my delight when I discover that wherever not exposed to direct sunlight, Dulux white gloss turns a lovely shade of yellow
