We have to give Megson a chance. He doesn't fill me with optimism but i'm happier than if we appointed Reid or Warnock. Im sure with Taggart in tow,Megson can do with us what he did with WBA(twice!). Hopefully anyway!!! Good luck Megson.....you're gonna need it at Leicester I wish more people shared the same sensible thoughts
l444ry Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 If Mandaric has done his homework he will know that Megson was always in dispute with Robert Chase at Norwich, had a similar relationship at Stockport with Brendan Ellwood and he also was in constant dispute with Paul Thompson at W.B.A. If this nightmare does come to pass Milan must enjoy conflict and clearly be a masochist of some description.

My immediate thought was i need to setup a sellers account on ebay. roeder shite no experience in this div. couldnt cut it at bigger clubs. warnock, shite, took forever to promote sheff utd and the only reason he managed it was by trying to buy all the strikers in the div anyway managed promo to prem once. reid, found success once at sunderland thanks to a pairing of quinn and phillips after that he was shite megson managed to get wba up twice and shite after that. so if you want someone with expericence in this div who'd be your choice out of the above?

Im more inclined to look at Megson's record at WBA than at Forest!

I know a lot are saying it tongue-in-cheek but please it's pretty tedious now.

All jokes a side, once the hysteria has died down and we see Megson on the touchline organizing the lads, we will soon get back to reality. All its going to take is some positive results and we will start seeing Megsons name. Thankfully, he is at practically every game I have seen on TV scouting or whatever and he sometimes makes the SS booth to help with analysis. I'm not saying he is Arsene Wenger but he knows the division and the players and hopefully will do what he has to in order for us to get promotion. I`ll ask my fellow Leicester fans and fanettes to get all Scouse and "CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALM DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN" because he has been succesful at this level and should do well.
