Stuliasz Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Megson out chants on saturday, anyone? Don't be such a moron.
JoeyB Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Press Conference - OS  Congrats It was a joke...Was hoping i'd get more people worried for a couple of seconds, obviously not. Well certainly had my heart in my mouth while i was reading it! Had to read it 3 times before i understood it!
BigGibbo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Press Conference - OS  Son of a bitch you had me puckering up there
Kent Fox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Well, Milan did say something about 'signing' a manager... So.. IT'S MÉGSON"! All hail our new manager! Sometimes it's hard being right...
weggy1976 Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Why is everyone surprised? We were never gonna get a good manager. Who in their right mind would leave their current post, or put their record on the line to work with Milan. Sorry, but lets be frank, we were only ever gonna attract someone from the "dole" queue. Would have preferred some of the others though that have no current post.
Daggers Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I'll gladly join you in this Daggers, I may even lend you a hat. Serious drinking means exactly that - no tittering, no joshing and definitely no japes & malarky.
Lets Be having You Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Although it may be wishful thinking, someone on foxfanzine says that Megson will be in on a match-by-match basis to give MM more time. Might just be my wishful thinking but with Taggs as assistant that theory does make some sense to me.From T.B I do hope thats right, sounds like it could be( gets more wine for his full glass to drown out the thought of ginger tom)

Master Fox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 MA must be seriously pissed when he sees this, replaced by a man who managed to relegate a club like Forest. Oh shit I totally forgot about that....
filbertway Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Fook me, if it is him, give the bloke a chance at least.
Tevez Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Fook me, if it is him, give the bloke a chance at least. Seconded.
Master Fox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Fook me, if it is him, give the bloke a chance at least. No way. Anyone care to join me... MEGSON OUT!!!!
sackmycook Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Give him a chance he did achieve promo to the prem twice. he didnt do well at snottingham 'cos he inherited problems. who cares how we get there as long as we get there.
MC Prussian Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 At this rate, we'll be having a new manager every two months!
Brenfox Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 He won't last 5 minutes. A snippet form wikipedia "However, the club was barely prepared for the financial challenges of life in the top flight and a bitter quarrel soon developed between Megson and the club's chairman Paul Thompson over the latter's perceived interference in footballing matters. An undignified public showdown resulted in Thompson resigning from the board in order to forestall Megson's departure."

I agree with this! Come on everyone, whoever gets the job lets really get behind them. If its Megson fair enough, with decent turn out at matches and decent vocal support we will be giving the bloke every chance to do well. If the rumors about Megson are true, MM obviously rates the guy. Lets get behind them both and give it a good go at getting us back to where we belong.

BigGibbo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I reserve the right to withhold judgement until & IF this gets confirmed
foxchop Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 MM might rate him but he rated Allen, but still sacked him after thumping Watford. Another year in the doldrums. It's a good job I'm well stocked with old speckled hen.

The first manager in years who seemed to be taking us places (He didn't have long and anything could have happened, he could have turned out to be shite but we'll never know either way) the first manager in years we liked and were happy with, the first manager in years almost all the fans were behind for once then Milan goes and fuks it up for us regardless of what went on...it takes the piss. Theres no compromise it'll take ALOT for Milan to win the fans over if this is true. People had just about agreed to forget but not forgive Milan for sacking MA, if its true about bringing Megson in, it gives us fans twice the ammunition to want Milan's blood
