Geo V Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Geo other than five live we have no reason to believe this is true am i right? Maybe right mate but I have seen unofficial reports from the Beeb to good old Teletext . Its going to happen tomorrow mate so go get your ginger wig and get your ar$e on that optimistic bus as some lasses need servicing.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Some megson points.1. Fell out with brian clough at forest as player never played though 2. Boring man 3. Took forest down 4. Ginger. 5. and the biggest point left west brom due to interferance from the west brom chairman. That's just racist. What if we were to appoint a black manager, and i put 4. Black.
Dames Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 As an aside if Megson is the spit of what Neil Lennon will look 20 years down the line.
Sods Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 That's just racist. What if we were to appoint a black manager, and i put 4. Black. Did i say anything was wrong with being ginger.
BigGibbo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Surely you ARE joking about Reid,Warnock,Roeder.......IT IS! Tomorrow will be the day of announcement! If thats the case why the fooking smiles
Ashley Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Were gunna have to get behind the team and stick by megson if it is him
Tommeh Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Quote on the beeb "Leicester have been without a win since Allen was sacked on September 1st" Mugs Thats almost as funny as the appointment itself.
sackmycook Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 That's just racist. What if we were to appoint a black manager, and i put 4. Black. dont be thick

There doesn't want to be any ginger lasses i might get the urge to punch them halfway through Only Jokin
demon_dog Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Is this a big smokescreen being put out from the club? Is Tags not currently working alongside the squad, thought he was doing his coaching badge there. What better than to throw people of the scent completely, then announce someone completely different as manager. Hope this is the case. If not and it is Megson, then what the hell, will still continue to support the team no matter what.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 dont be thick Can you explain to me the difference then please?
lildave3 Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 That's just racist. What if we were to appoint a black manager, and i put 4. Black. What of it?
Leicester Rule! Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 all he did for wba was get them up and straight back down.
NFFC Chris Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Kinnear took us down not Megson, get your facts straight,we were a lost cause when Megson took over and actually made good signings. Not our worst manager ever that's for sure. He's done well everywhere else he's been and I think he could do well for you IF Mandaric gives him a chance.Just don't expect good football, there will be a lot of hoofing on show to say the least!Anyway good luck Meggo!
MPH Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 No No No No.Why ? No. Don't do it Milan. No. " He tried to make me sing for megson , Milan -i said ' No no no.....'

Its gonna be Megson and Taggart as his No 2,Izzet as his number 3,Walshie as his 4...... And they WILL be successful Get over it!
Libertine Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 ****ing hellfire. I can't believe I'm about to say this but.. I'd rather have ****ing Roeder.

Nice one Pal Do you think he will receive a warm welcome from The Forest faithful on Tuesday???
demon_dog Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 You really are hoping aint you?Its gonna be Megson and Taggart as his No 2. And they WILL be successful Get over it! It's a cunning plan by Milan. Get Tags, Elliott and Muzzy as backroom staff I say, then if and when Megs has to go he has Leicester at heart men running the show.
NFFC Chris Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Nice one Pal Do you think he will receive a warm welcome from The Forest faithful on Tuesday??? More chance of Cloughie coming back from the dead,if I was at the game though which unfortunately I won't be able to make I would just treat him like any other opposition manager which basically is no reaction whatsoever!
Scow Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 My first thought was to reach for the bottle. I'm sure Gerreh would have approved of that. Mandaric has presumably took the simplistic view of Megson's 2 promotions with WBA. Mandaric wanted a manager to get us promoted ASAP, so it comes as no real shock. Megson endured a difficult time at Forest - they were already doomed when he took the reigns. As with a lot of relegated teams, they struggled to get themselves together the season after. I've took a deep breath, and whilst I'm not over the moon with it (If it proves to be the case), at least there is a track record of promotion. He's certainly not the sort of progressive manager we need should we reach the premiership, but I'm sure Mandaric would draft in someone else should that happen. Prepare for hoofball and scrappy 1-0 wins.
JoeyB Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Well bbc east mids just said contracts being signed tomorrow, then he should be in charge for forest
