When I started the game he was halfway thru scouting England and only drummed up obvious over-expensive players, ie. Andy Reid. But when I sent him to Germany he found a couple of quality players. He is on his way to Scandinavia now... I do now that I've got a scout who isn't a raving idiot. Germany and Scandinavia are very good places to send them. I sent mine to Spain and he came back with a load of Barcelona/Madrid players that they weren't willing to sell, so Spain might be a bit of a pointless exercise. One of the best places I've sent mine is out towards Russia and the Eastern bloc/Balkan states. Try it.

I offered £180k and got accepted first time This is in the January window, first season.

sdb Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 started a game with leic, so far so good. 9 games, 5 wins, 3 draws, joint top. Paddy K went for £2.2mil and I signed St Ledger for half that. He's been majestic along with DJ, Hume and Chambers! Weso, Clem and Kish all out long term though which is tres worrying. Cometh the hour, cometh Andy King to disrupt my winning streak Clarke went back to Sunderland and Watford signed him for 1.2mil even though he cant play this year... Got Thompson on a free, he's been great. edit - the collapse has begun token disallowed goal every game starting to annoy!

Currently sitting in 7th place going into the last game away at hull city. West brom are 6th and are away at charlton. I have to win and hope they either draw or lose as they're 2 points clear the b*stards!!! Here's hoping!!

I am very annoyed by it all... every fooking year I seem to finish 7th or 8th despite having been in the play-offs or better for most of the season... we always blow it at the end!!!

To be honest, I really don't rate Clemence on the game at all... he's always messing up for me and costing us masses of goals every match nearly... I really am pissed off with him... I just can't drop him though until I find a suitable (affordable) replacement...
