This is probably considered "cheating" by most And I'd be surprised if no one here as mentioned it before, but... create a 2nd manager, plonk him in a rich club like Chelsea or Real Madrid during the summer AND HAVE HIM SIGN ALL YOUR RESERVE PLAYERS FOR £10 MILLION A PIECE!!! Admittedly, the last FM I got is 2006, but it's worked in every incarnation of CM/FM since time immermorial, don't see that they'd change it for 2008

And in honesty, doesn't make it much easier, since the expectations go up and you still can't get the best players cos you're not a "glamour" club! Still, got Hinckley United moving nicely in the 2nd Division and trying to ressurect my main Manager's career at Empoli after City gave me the boot... ingrates, we were 8th in the Premiership!! City fans, I tell ya!

I used to be able to be Leeds way back in 02 when they had Rio, Robbie Keane etc and they had moolah but now that scumbag W**e is there i just can't anymore. Derby, F****t and CovScum are alos no no's. Other than that ive never been a massive club since 02. Biggest club ive been is Arsenal on a ridiculously short lived network game. (Wilkesy gave up cos he were losing )
