SystonFox Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 when they scored the 2nd goal (or 1st? whichever way u look at it) a young lad ran on from the right all the way across to celebrate with the forest players, no stewards tackled him even though it was obvious of his destination but i bet he feels a right tit now especially as him team went and lost 3-1 really. quality laugh about that. atmosphere wise i thought the 5,000 odd city fans were great in patches but not the whole time. a great night whatever though. lets hope this inspires more fans to go charlton as i already was and then we can put on a good show in villa next wednesday. cannot wait for either game.
potter3 Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 He was quite retarded, running straight into the polices arms too
C-man Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 I know, he completely bottled it in the end. he blatantly ran accross to celebrate with the players and just ran past them into police custody haha!
Mikey Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 Couldn't make it to this game. Can't afford Charlton game. Definitely going Villa game
Maybes Posted 18 September 2007 Posted 18 September 2007 He started giving megson the v's at which point I quietly chuckled
Bert Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Couldn't make it to this game. Can't afford Charlton game. Definitely going Villa game Congratulations. Most unrelated post of the year.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think funnier was when we drew 2-2 with Villa at Filbert Street, Peter Crouch scored, and a fan ran on to the pitch... only to find out the goal was offside!
Karlos Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 And they were the t*ats in the 1st game saying our man who went at h/t was a w4nker, at least he entertained!!!
Trumpet Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Ticket - £5 Balti pie - £2.20 Sitting in a police van/cell hearing that Leicester have just scored a last minute winner after running across the pitch as if you've won the game. - Priceless.
weggy1976 Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 atmosphere wise i thought the 5,000 odd city fans were great in patches but not the whole time. mmmmmmm, singing gerry's blue n white army, when we were losing, some muppets were singing for Martin Allen, then when we were winning (even though it was a shite second half performance) the praise was all Gerry's again !!!! So Megson really will not be given a chance. If we win the praise will be for Gerry, and if we lose it will be Megson OUT.
Wils Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Congratulations. Most unrelated post of the year. Behind this one.

Having said that the 2nd half performance was dire.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I was going mental when that lad ran across the pitch. Bloody stewards. Dunno why. Didn't really affect me. I was annoyed though. Bloody Forest. Stick it right up ya! ARRRRRRGH!!!!!!! Kind Regards, Bernie (86)

Simi Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think once again the Police handled it reasonably well and let him run straight to them.
Trumpet Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think once again the Police handled it reasonably well and let him run straight to them. Tbh, it does work. The police would, in the past, run after them, encouraging really. The fan just gives up in the end, so really - Invade the pitch, why not? Would have loved to run on the pitch after the 3rd goal. Infact i should have!
The Stig Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Silly chav fool You can't really describe him better than that!
