The team will get my backing.

I'll openly chant Megson's name and support him with 100% when he starts getting us the right results, Untill then i'll be wary.

people want Megson to fail, which is crazy.

I will back the guy you have too.

I get the feeling, that because so many people are against him, he might just be successful, kind of like a siege mentality.

Exactly, he is a proven manager, who only did poor at Forest when his hands were completely tied and they were to be inevitably relegated. It makes me laugh how fickle the Forest fans were just after they'd appointed him, saying that he's the best thign to happen to their club since Brian Clough and now listen to them :D

If you mean that he's proved himself a good manager he's proved nothing to me whatsoever.

I shall watch what he does with interest.

Yeah im backing him 100%, he is our manager and im fed up with the bring martin back chants... lets move on...

I was one of these who wasnt happy with megson being appointed and i openly admit that but now i will back him because i love my club. I also think megson really wants to do well with us and he has some usefull ideas. Lets just wait and see if it works.

Good luck to him and his staff...

We need to back him 100% to spur the player on aswell.

Singing his name, and generall singing DOES spur the players on, and we need to do that week in week out, which we do a fair bit (mainly away)

But tomorrow is a massive game, and with us fans in fine voice, would maybe give us that extra edge to win.

A win tomorrow and then stoke, and a game in hand, we would be up near the top of the table...

So come on City, Get behind Megson, and the team

He got my backing all the way. I hope he gets us promoted first time around. Even it means with hoofball and a million of 1-0 wins, then so be it.

I would rather we stay down than play hoofball as we would come straight back down anyway. But I will definately back Megson and am going to Charlton tomorrow, would never boo a manager of lcfc.

i still can't bring myself to chant his name yet. I will always cheer for leicester unless someone was not giving it there all. I want him to do well but seems like he is doomed to fail. I will not chant milan name in future though. He will have to earn that right back. I will cheer for gerry instead for now anway.

Could'nt put it better myself,I'll be supporting City tomorrow Megson has to earn his stripe's!

I think Megson will be the only manager in history who will have to earn his name being chanted. Most managers get a good cheer in their first game. I think even basset got a blue and white army chant in his first home game.

What I witnessed against QPR jaundiced me as has what so many of you have said about his likely approach tomorrow.

But if he somehow steers our club to the Promised Land that is the Premiership what will it matter?

No frills. No avoidable risks. No unnecessary entertainment.

No one would have predicted that scoreline tonight or more importantly the performance and line-up but hats off to Megson who has raised his game with the selection which worked perfectly. Lets not underestimate the performance and result because this comp was arguably Villa`s best chance of European football with the likes of Arsenal and Manure playing weakened teams and by the sounds of it MON was fuming.

Back to Megson, we expect instant results which is unfair and Ive said all along that we need to give him time to do his job. He still has plenty to do in the league but the fact that we have now won two big games in the cup away from home should be a confidence booster. He may have stumbled across a good away formation although its questionable if the system will work at home as we will encounter sides who sit back at the Walkers.

Hats off to him, lets hope he can keep it going.

I can remember wanting to punch the nearest wall when GM started making strange changes against Florist with the likes of Stears coming on but in his defence he was spot on. To play devils advocate he has come up with some stinker decisions like his substitutions and team selections against PQR and Charlton but like I keep saying, he has to work out his best side and we unfairly expect him to stroll in and know exactly who to select from the off.
