Come On You Blooooz!!!!

We had a brilliant win on Wednesaday, let's play with the same effort and commitment as we did then and we should be good for a win.

Agreeeed 100%. We had a worse side last season when we played these at our place but managed a win on that occasion. A repeat performance is in order. :smile:

But ffs watch out for that forking Ricardo bastard Fuller. :@

thyeve got more players than just fuller i assure you, stoke are a very good team and its going to be as potentially hard as villa

I should hope they have, 'cos it'd be a bit unfair if it were 11 vs 1. :rolleyes:

I was merely pointing out that we always seem to struggle to cope with Ricardo Fuller. He enjoys playing, and scoring, against us.

I was looking forward to this game earlier in the week.

Now im tired and at work til 12pm,im not looking forward to it.

But when i start walking from Vicky park to the ground,i might start looking forward to it.

i'm looking forward to my half time hot chocolate though! :)

But three points are a must today, I want to stay positive and say the season is still young.

And the cup run we are on can spur us on a bit.

I can feel the tension mounting already. Another hit from our one-shot highwaymen should be just fine. One-nil, one-nil, one-nil....and N'Gotty to have Fuller for a light afternoon snack (bit of blind faith that).

Goals and entertainment? Who cares? I'll be off to the Academy first to see some shots and positive football. The first team can win any way they like. :thumbup:

Good to hear Mr Thracian has awoken full of the joys of autumn.

I at least maintain my excitement on the drive up the M1. It's not until about 3.10 when I start thinking same old, same old.

But today, today it's going to be different. ;)

Dont think he will make a change to the squad of wednesday, if we play as well as we did then today then i think this could be the winning formula we have been looking for.

Hope Megson continues in the same winning vein as Wednesday- although I'd expect us to be a bit more attack minded at home! I don't mind grinding out 1-0's if we're not playing well, but I don't want the mentality to be 'let's play for 1-0' from the start. I think there's an important difference.

Think we'll get the same team as Weds, despite the reservations I have of Chambers playing midfield. Would like to see Kaebi and De Vries on the bench though- I want some attacking options if we need to change it!!!!

i think one of two things is likely today, and both as a result of the villa game... we either find that we have settled down well into 3 at the bsck, and finally play like we've threatened to this season...

...or we think everything is alright and concede sloppy goals.

personally, i have a good feeling about this - the fact that i love snow, and that it has snowed here today as a birthday treat is a very good sign... probably.

City boss Gary Megson has made three changes to his starting line up for the Championship clash against Stoke City at the Walkers Stadium.

In come DJ Campbell, Mark de Vries and Carl Cort for Matty Fryatt, Iain Hume and Radostin Kishishev.

City look set to again adopt three centre backs for the contest, while there is a possibility that Cort, de Vries and Campbell will make up a three-pronged Leicester attack.

Fryatt, Kishishev and Hume drop to the bench, where they are joined by Paul Henderson and Shaun Newton.

City: Fulop, McAuley, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, Mattock, Clemence, Chambers, Stearman, de Vries, Campbell, Cort.

Subs: Henderson, Kishishev, Newton, Fryatt, Hume.

Stoke: to follow
