Mark Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Seems to be scoring every week, 7 goals in 11 appearances this season for Colchester for someone who was mostly a bench warmer for us, typical Leicester.
lee7 Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Seems to be scoring every week, 7 goals in 11 appearances this season for Colchester for someone who was mostly a bench warmer for us, typical Leicester. it was the wrong decision to let him go after watching newtons shocking performance today.
Brainy Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 We all wanted him gone though. No doubt he'll score against us in a few weeks.
lee7 Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Haven't a few been pens? he scored a pen today and i know he scored one the other week but i'm not sure how many of his goals have been pens.
Ultra Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 He had a flying start for us, then did jack afterwards. He wasn't notably better then Jarrett or Horsfield while he was here..
AyewJoking Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Where does he play for Colchester? Do they tell him, "theres the wing, now get on with it"?
Geo V Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 He was shite for us. He didnt do enough during his time with us to warrant a first team place or even a contract. I didnt see anyone of the fellow foxestalkers say that we should sign him when the season ended!
Micky Ruddle Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Debut for us. Come on, first touch, goal. Then all of a sudden, decided i can't be bothered with this.
Anish Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 He's meant to be a free-kick specialist too, that's where a few of his goals have come from.
Joe. Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 He was definitely poor for us, and I couldn't care less when he got sent packing to be honest. Just seems so typical he's been successful away from us
Steven Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Seems to be scoring every week, 7 goals in 11 appearances this season for Colchester for someone who was mostly a bench warmer for us, typical Leicester. Just shows how crap Kelly is/was.
City Fan Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Kevin Lisbie seems to be scoring quite a bit as well, I was pissed off when we didn't sign him after a trial in the summer.
syston_fox Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 He's meant to be a free-kick specialist too, that's where a few of his goals have come from. I think every one of his 7 goals has been a pen or a free kick. To be fair to the lad he has been winning the penalties himself - not that they're a one man team or anything
lee7 Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 he was at colchester on loan the season before he came to us and apparentley he was amazing for them that season aswell.
SamL Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 When he was at Leicester he looked decent in patches but poor the rest of the time. I wouldve liked to see him given time. He played on the wing for us and we didnt exactly have the best full backs and center mids. Maybe with some of the players we have this year he may have fitted in nicely.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Just shows how crap Kelly is/was. And what a brilliant coach Micky Adams is
The People's Hero Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 He wouldn't have scored those for us. Colchester actually play some enterprising stuff. We don't.
