One of their fans said he's at Leicester for a reason - we're shit!!! I couldn't be arsed to register and point out we are the 5th most succesful team over the last 10 years - FACT FFF

That really makes a difference to how we're doing now.
James. Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 I couldn't be arsed to register and point out we are the 5th most succesful team over the last 10 years - FACT Whilst I enjoy pointing that statistical anomaly out to my Premiership-team supporting mates it really is more tongue in cheek than a justifiable argument isn't it. Right now I'm fairly content with Megson. Some of the abuse he gets on here is outrageous. However if I was a Bolton fan basking in the rapidly diminishing afterglow of Allardyce I'd be gutted if Megson was bookie's favourite to fill the vacancy there.
MPH Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Bolton fans are worried?!?!? I'm worried too! i heard he might not go to them! On a serious note, not sure if this has been mentioned in any other thread about Megson... Bolton chairman Phil Gartside is set to make a fresh move for Leicester boss Gary Megson after his initial bid for talks - following the exit of manager Sammy Lee - was turned down. (Various) they in all seriousness might have every reason to be worried...

Plus it's not true now, since one of our league Cup wins came on April 16th 1997, over 10 years ago.

The words hairs & splitting spring to mind. All right all right, 10 1/2 years. I still think my points valid - what have Bolton won in the past 10 (& 1/2) years. Also, the way things are going, they are plummeting fast & will soon be as 'shit' as us. FFF
Simi Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Unless they get Dowie ???????? With all the goings on at Coventry at the moment, that would not surprise me if Dowie was to jump ship. Spend a lot of cash in January and keep them up.

Asha Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 True as that is, they are fine ones to talk at the minute. Yeah but a lot of people nowadays see every Premiership side as better than every Championship side. But personally I think as things stand at the moment for example, Watford are better than Derby. I don't think the divisional divides always show they're a better team.
Asha Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 SOUNESS HAS RULED HIMSELF OUT OF THE BOLTON JOB There's always that little lad, whose speech was almost as bad as Gareth Gates...what was his name....Sammy something....
