BUT most of all -has lcfc in his heart & thats what REALLY counts.

I have LCFC in my heart (along with all the cholesterol) but that doesn't mean I'd be any better at being the manager of a football team than I would be at captaining a nuclear submarine or running Gordon Ramsay's restaurant.

Just because you might care about something doesn't mean you won't be absolutely shit at it (I'm thinking about Walshie here more than Grayson, who might actually be quite good)

Has he ran a Chinese Restaurant? His Golfing enterprize went bust as well didn't it?

Get him in!!!!

I seem to recall a joint 'business' 'venture' allegedly with Joachim. He probably doesn't talk about it much now

Food for thought..

Outside the dressing room, football is a business; transfers, contracts, negotiations etc etc

Who the fook in a team of Walsh, Taggart and [add another ex player for idiot reasons] is going to attract good players to the squad?

Megson may well have been tactically inept with everything other than defending, but he was big enough to bring in big names, made good signings for forest, WBA and collins john was not a bad little capture at all. There has to be someone on board who can run the club off the field as well as the 90 minutes a week or so.

oh and....

Footballlforums.net

On Coventry and Warwickshire Radio..

....they're saying on the Bob Brolly show, that Iain Dowie has already left the Sky Blues to take up a position at Leicester City, and to expect an announcement later today?

CCFCtommy

I think this may be true, Bob Brolly always goes on about how he's pals with the board etc.

I really can't blame him if he does leave.

I'd be very surprised if it all went through that fast, so dubious but there you go

Bet Megson will end up awesome at Bolton now and save them.

Look at Craig LEvein, he was dire for us but hes doing amazing with Dundee now. 4th in the SPL only 3 points off top.

Bring him back ;)

we all expecting jewell or keegan or who ever there branding about! is that really realistic? every time this happens the same names crop up, and yes the same names never get the job, we need to realise where not a big club at the minute, hense allen and megson, weve got to hope someone decent actually applies for it, and who ever comes in we need to get behind the team the crowd at the sheff utd game were a joke do the kop sleep until the 90th minute when they get excited cause they can start booing, if the support got behind the team the whole game and not just when we get a throw in the opposition half then the players and staff might respond, the stadiums dead everyweek its embarrasing to stand and watch the prawn sandwiches sit all game.

Ling content with O's job

http://www.football.co.uk/leyton_orient/li...ob_254470.shtml

Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling has played down talk of him leaving the club to take charge at Leicester City.

Ling has been in charge of the O's for four years and says he is content at Brisbane Road, with Orient currently topping the League One table.

He told the Epping Guardian: "All I can say is that I've got 20 months left on my contract at Orient.

"Of course there is a lot of speculation going on, but there is still a job to be done at this football club. I am happy here because the club is doing better than it has done for many a year.

"But of course there are a lot of jobs coming available out there and I suppose if you are a manager sitting at the top of League One, you do expect to get spoken about.

"That isn't a problem though as far as I'm concerned and at this moment in time there have been no approaches to either me or the chairman from any other football club."

Meanwhile, Ling has been asked by the FA to explain his post-match comments after the 1-1 draw at Leeds United.

He said of match official Nigel Miller: "It's sad that our performance will be overshadowed by that of the ref.

"He's got four of the major decisions in the game wrong. He crumbled in front of a massive crowd."

Interesting. I saw them at the back end of last season, went down there with Northampton who actually managed to win 2-0 away from home. Orient were absolutely appalling. They had James Chambers' brother Adam playing for them.

Ling has been linked with us now 3 times. In May/June before Allen was appointed, then after Allen got the sack and then now.

He's doing a great job there, always comes across as being a bit wet behind the ears though when he talks.

Would love to see Jewell here but believe he is looking for premier team.

Dowie is the man, MM has mentioned him on a number of occasions and i think if the takeover had gone through quicker he would be here rather than cov. With Cov's troubles us giving them the money we recieved for Megson would help us all.

Stuart Pearce was at the game on Tues and he would be another good bet.

This season is like Champ man and im loving it, we will all look back in a few years and laugh at this panto of a season, its either laugh or cry,

:D

Milosevic definitely could though, still without a club that last I checked (probably sometime this week, I tend to check weekly! )

He's a brilliant player everywhere he's been apart from Villa ;)
