Hahaha Sort it out Milan - you know what to do.

I would love to see Walshy in charge. Him and Taggs in the dressing room I'd be scared shitless of losing. It'd be about as pretty as the football

more bullshite!!!!

Oh come one, it would be fun for a couple of games at least. :D

SEE WHAT YOU MEAN----SORRY!

Seriously Taggs assisting a proven, loyal & ambitious manager with LCFC really in his heart--------------SIMON GRAYSON!!

Dream ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do believe Walsh should be involved in some capacity at Leicester, he's wasted on Radio Leicester, although hearing his views on there is the only credible thing on that station for several years.

Noooooo if he left RL I'd rather watch BBC live text than listen to Barber and some other goon. :P

Why hasnt Steve Coterill been mentioned, i think with the right funds he will make a great manager, he or pullis would be my choice if we cant get the man we really need! Paul Jewell!

I'd like to see Cotterill here but like a lot of the other good young managers I can't see them moving to sort out our mess.

Can he really be any worse than the managers we have had since Micky Adams left?

YES!

In all honesty, it would just be far too big a gamble, and we've had enough of them already.

Though i do think he should be involved in some capacity, perhaps something as little as talking to the players and geeing them up before a game or something.

Why stop at Walsh? Let's have a management team completely made up of ex-players!

I can see it now:

Walshy - manager

Taggs - assistant

Neil Lennon - player-coach

Pegguy Arphexad - goalkeeper coach

Lee Marshall - kitman

Robbie Savage - cheerleader

Muzzy Izzet - ballboy

Junior Lewis - stadium announcer

Er, yes he does. They just happen to be Israeli ones. The dispute with the Premier league is whether they are recognised in Europe.

Since Grant managed in the Champions League before joining Chelsea, there's no reason why they shouldn't be.

its the fifa pro licence they keep arguing about that you need it in the premier league and for champions league, i i think he has some uefa ones but not sure but like you say is the israeli ones there arguing about and if he experienced enough to just give it him like they did with others

Very interesting.

He's had talks with Milan before, wouldn't surprise me at all if this happened. Wouldn't be a bad appointment, either.

Would be sound. Took Palace up from about 18th at about this time in the season, if not later. ;)

No thanks :( He and Cov are showing their true colours which has recently culminated in two 3-0 home drubbings and a 4-1 defeat at Ipswich. Granted it would be far from a disaster and he is better than Megson but not for me.

Considering he's had about as much support as Rob Kelly got he hasn't done bad.

Dowie is the only realistic option, People saying Jewell are living in cloud cuckoo land, people who want Walshy obviously have no idea about how football actually works and people who want Peter Reid... well I've rang the men in white coats.

I think a better idea would be to have him on the coaching staff like Gerry and let him get his badges under another more experienced manager like Dowie. Then a few years (or months, or weeks) down the line he might be in a better position.

Cov only have 5 points from their last 8 league games. they started off well but now they are doing just as bad as us.

Jeez, give Walshy his own thread back.

Why do the moderators love massive, unreadable threads on a single topic? Why not just create one thread called "Stuff" and we'll talk about everything in that.

The point of threads on a message board is for people to start their own topics. Who cares if it's talked about somewhere else?

It's been sorted ;)

I think it will be Dowie. Milan was rumored to be interested close season and Cov are desperate for money so the 300K we are supposed to have got for Megson will go to them for Dowie and might just keep them out of admin until they find a buyer.
