The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I feel slightly indifferent to be fair.

I Love the club like all of you, from this day OUR EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, LCFC FOREVER. Thank you Yes I'll do it, like I have done every match this season. Only to be looked at by some woman with her kids who is astounded that I dare to open my mouth at the football and support my team from the Kop. Not forgetting the stewards either.

purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 it would easy if people knew how to organize themselves. If your not a season ticket holder people should buy tickets all together.
The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Does anyone else find these threads not only fairly tiresome but also patronising in the extreme?
SamL Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Its easier said than done It is! No banging is allowed on back of stand I started off a load of songs on tuesday night & about 5 people joined in.
Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Does anyone else find these threads not only fairly tiresome but also patronising in the extreme? Immensely.

Fox in a Box Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Does anyone else find these threads not only fairly tiresome but also patronising in the extreme? very much so....... we raised the roof (holiday inn) and it doesn't help.
The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 very much so.......we raised the roof (holiday inn) and it doesn't help. That's pretty good for you. Kudos!
The Stig Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I sat in the Kop at the back for Wolves and Stoke and didn't get any looks then but when I started singing the A & L stand people were looking at me like I had 6 heads. Not that that stopped me!
Scow Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I'm getting drunk and then shouting out a lot of random abuse.
Bojimha Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Me and my 8 year old nephew will be singing our hearts out in the family stand, we may be the only 2 but we will still be defiant and fully behind the boys!
The People's Hero Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I'm getting drunk and then shouting out a lot of random abuse. This is an approach I can empathise with.
Ric Flair Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 I must say the past 3 or 4 home games wince Megson has been in charge, the atmosphere has been the worst i've ever known it. There wasn't even any abuse being chanted. Just utter silence and disbelief at what was being witnessed. Football that was souless from both teams because Megson had set his team up that killed any chance of football from either sides. The old saying 'you could hear a fart from the other side of the ground' was definitely apt in this situation, it was awful. I know since we've moved to The Walkers the atmosphere has been on the whole crap, but Megson took it to a whole new level. He managed to silence 25,000 fans, it was a special talent.

Bojimha Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Does anyone know how much know how much average gate receipts are? Imagine if they could afford to take the hit and give everyone £2 tickets or something to the first come first served customers and get a full house in for one of the upcoming home matches. We need a lift too as fans, and nothing makes anyone happier than getting something for nothing or close to nothing!

Bojimha Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 That's cool then, my nephews ticket only cost me £2 this will probably help boost the numbers too and hopefully we can all generate a good atmosphere on saturday.
