Mr Happy Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 FulopKisnorbo McAuley N Gotty Chambers Sheehan King (Fit?) I don't think he is, but better option than Newton! Hellings Mr Mysterious - I really do want to see him play though Fryatt Campbell John I simply cannot stand Newton in midfield anymore, or Stearman at wing back for that matter. This team selection is what I'd have picked, at least until Weso or Clem return from injury
Bert Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Sheehan N'Gotty McAuley Kisnorbo Hume Chambers Kenton Fryatt John
Simon Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Fulop McAuley N'Gotty Kisnorbo Chambers Hume Hellings (why the fook not?) Sheehan Fryatt John Deej Subs: Hendo, Kaebi, The Sappletiser, Cort, Ferreira
BigGibbo Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I think we need to go for all out for a win as we are most likely to lose if we go out with the 5-3-2 nick a goal appproach & I believe the game will be decided on whether we can get an early goal! both due to the fatigue the players will be feeling from the last weeks events & to the lack of fit quality players available to bring in & rest anyone! Also is anyone here able to confirm who isn't available for Preston as im not sure but think it could be all of, Sheehan Hume Weso Clemence King Porter If so i would re-call Kishishev Sharpish & play -----------------------------Fulop --------------Kisnorbo---N'Gotty--McAuley Chambers-----------Kishishev------------Hellings -----------------------------Ferreira ----------------------Fryatt -----------Campbell------------John Probably the best team we could put out pretty weak really Edit: Simon reminded me that Porter is crocked

Agree on Kish though- why are we not recalling him?
Father Ted Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Fulop Kisnorbo Mcauley N'gotty Stearman Sheehan Chambers Kenton Fryatt (Hume if fit and Fryatt replacing Cort up front) Cort John Subs: Hendo, Newton, Ricky, Maybury and Dj
Harpenden Fox Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I'm almost certain Sheehan can play on Tuesday, then has a suspension for Saturday. Sad that there's virtually no injury updates on the OS these days, just constant reminders that 'we down to bare bones' and to 'book early for the next game at the Walkers' I notice Kishishev didn't play for Leeds yesterday. Perhaps he's injured too. Then again when he did play for us he was thoroughly unremarkable. Unambitious though it may be I'd take a point at Preston, then hope either Weso or Clem are ready for Saturday. Perhaps best to leave Weso so he can have the extra fortnight off, then hopefully be properly fit....
syston_fox Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Weso reckons he'll be ready for tuesday night - he left a myspace comment to my mate.

BigGibbo Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Weso reckons he'll be ready for tuesday night - he left a myspace comment to my mate. Yeah but he's probably just eager to play the decision on whether a player is ready to play is regularly different between the player & the doctors/physios
Thracian Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 If no Hume! Fulop; Stearman, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo Sheehan; Odhiambo, Chambers, Beswick, Fryatt, Campbell, John. Subs: Henderson, McAuley, Kenton, Cort, Ashley Chambers
Simon Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Sheehan, if suspended, will be hard to replace. I might even risk the untried but habitually reliable Ryan Beswick in the role.He is probably the only available player who is naturally left-sided. He is normally a winger, delivers as good a cross as anyone and, like Sheehan, can deliver a decent free kick. Whoever is chosen will be a gamble but the other options - Kenton or Maybury - don't fill me with confidence and Kenton will doubtless still be needed in midfield. So: Fulop; Stearman, McAuley, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, Beswick; Chambers, Kenton, Hume, John, Fryatt. Subs: Henderson, Ashley Chambers, Odhiambo, Cort, Campbell. There's no back five substitute because if any individual were injured their place could be taken by internal rearrangement using Kenton or going with a back four. They said on Radio Leicester that he'll be suspended for Saturday rather than Tuesday.

That formation seems to say were going there hoping for a draw & i can't see us holding on for 90 minutes due to the last couple of games so i think we need to go hell for leather from the start in the hope of going in at half time with a lead & then maybe reverting back to this
Tevez Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I'd rather see Hayes than Beswick, but i know neither won't play. Fulop N Gotty Kisnorbo McAuely Hayes Kaebi Hellings Ferreria Kenton Jailow John

Subs: Henderson, N'Gotty, Cort, Odhiambo, Beswick/McKay. It represents a lot of changes, two under 18 debutants and four people away from their most familiar positions. It's very high risk.

City Fan Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Fulop Stearman/N'Gotty/McAuley/Sheehan Chambers/Kisnorbo/King/Newton John/Fryatt We could always try Kisnorbo in midfield again - he might be alright with confidence.
