Porter definitely out long term with cruciate damage. Weso says he'll be training tomorrow but thinks Saturday might be too soon. Mattock might be back though - at least that was the impression I was given tonight.
Ultra Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Mattock's in the England under-19 squad for next week (according to the official site), so can't be too far off full fitness. The same applies to Weso and the full Australian side, though his game is not until November 18th. It seems strange, though, that Burrows says we're down to the "bare bones". With a squad of around 40, that should only happen if there's an epidemic of some kind!
Guest Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 With a squad of around 40, that should only happen if there's an epidemic of some kind! Or the management team don't feel that the others are capable of doing a job? What the hell is going on at City?

The People's Hero Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Does he still have that ankle injury that he's had since pre-season? I think he's had it his whole career mate. Apparently he was in a coma for the entire of last season.
Thracian Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I think he's had it his whole career mate.Apparently he was in a coma for the entire of last season. Bed next to Fryatt....
Koke Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 Bed next to Fryatt.... Difference is Fryatt forced his way back to the squad. Elvis is still collecting his wages and hanging around at Maryland.
Moreton Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 good to see weso and clemence coming back they work well together
