OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Holloway: I keep patting myself on the back and, to be honest, I could walk in any ground now and one or two of them might still cheer me, which is a right result. Dont know as you'll get any cheers at Plymouth....
Ric Flair Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Why Holloway wants to come here is beyond me. I suppose it's a win-win situation at Leicester. At some point there is a manager that's going to come along here and make us successful again and become a hero. For a prospective manager that's a great opportunity to try and do, failing that they get the sack within a few months and get a nice 3 year pay off for their troubles. Easy pickings for them.

I'm pretty sure there must be a couple of sensible Plymouth fans out there who understand that we're a bigger club and have offered him more money and it's a good move for him. He's got to further his career when all is said and done.

There were a couple of sensible Plymouth fans a couple of months ago but they got chased out of town for suggesting that Akos Buzsaky made a good career move.

eaststandtom Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 we have lost managers over the years to other more ambitious clubs and it is harsh. (little, mcghee, o'neill) i feel for argyle fans cos he seemed liked he was made for them and they loved him.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I can't think who dreadlock Holloway remind me of.

hollowaystays Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 ive got no idea why hed want to come there either.A dull, pointless town,a souless plastic ground,a club without any identity whatsoever,a nutter chairman wholl probably sack him by february if he hasnt got "big club" leicester into the promotion hunt thats if he doesnt fall out with him anyway due to a "personality" clash. We have a stable, well run honest club that gives its managers time and doesnt have delusions of grandeur like the interchnagebale set of souless nothing clubs in the midlands of which you are very much included.

Koke Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I'm in love. We were blinding last night. I wouldn't know where to find U21 highlights if you even can, but his first goal was absolutely superb. Difficult to describe but he basically shimmied about the goalkeeper from an impossible angle and flicked it in off the outside of his boot.Good skill, but immense composure. Wales U21 4 - 2 France U21. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Samir Nasri! Two words. Yoann Gourcuff. He would smoke this Ched Evans kid on any given Sunday.
Fat Ron Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 So much for Champagne supernobrot and his Cotterill "bullspit" Idiot.
Joe. Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I look forward to reading Holloway's BBC column as a Leicester City manager.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I look forward to reading Holloway's BBC column as a Leicester City manager. Nah, he'll be forced to quit his column after fan pressure following a 1-0 defeat at home in the FA Cup 3rd round to Telford Washing Machines.
