Joe. Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Fair play to Stearman, he had a good game on Saurday but I can't see him consistently doing the business. Would be nice to see Kaebi come in and at least have a chance.
Thracian Posted 26 November 2007 Author Posted 26 November 2007 Haha!I'm sure Milan has absolutely nothing against Odhiambo, neither will Holloway or the other coaches. Perhaps they haven't been that impressed with Odhimabo this season? There could be many reasons, but I doubt it's personal. However, I hope Eric is in the squad tonight. He looked extremely lively and confident when he came on at Accrington, albeit for only 5 minutes. Would like to see him given a chance at a time when we're down to the bare bones upfront. As a right winger though? Not sure. He's certainly not scored as many goals this season in the games he's played at various levels. Is that because he's now playing at right wing? He's tended to be pushed there because Sappleton, McKay and Kee have been in the middle. And there's been Ashley Chambers to occupy. The guy would probably be best leaving.

Ollie_09 Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 to correct you .. martin allen brought him on against watford and then he picked up an injury and allen was gone .. by the way is tht better english 4 you? kaebi is quality he shold defo be in the starting team all you lot sayin he's shit never watch him play in the reserves do you? aint you seen the vids of him man marking figo and ronaldo?
Simi Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 kaebi is quality he shold defo be in the starting team all you lot sayin he's shit never watch him play in the reserves do you? aint you seen the vids of him man marking figo and ronaldo? Yeah, I seen the video of that 9 year old who can dribble really well, I'm hoping we get him in soon.
Brainy Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 aint you seen the vids of him man marking figo and ronaldo? :o !! Legend!!!
Ric Flair Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 He's tended to be pushed there because Sappleton, McKay and Kee have been in the middle. And there's been Ashley Chambers to occupy. The guy would probably be best leaving. His loan spell at Southend didn't exactly reap him with goals, did it? I'm sure he'll keep plugging away and will get a chance here. Holloway said it's a fresh start for everyone here, so they've all got to impress to be picked.

I think Kaebi's being considered as a right midfielder because Hume will probably go up front tonight.
Joe. Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 I think Kaebi's being considered as a right midfielder because Hume will probably go up front tonight. That'd work for me to be honest. I think it'd be a very sensible decision. Now I'll admit, I've never seen Kaebi play for more than 15 minutes, but it's either him or Newton. I know which one I'd rather gamble with. He's got to get a chance at least.
Ric Flair Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Perhaps Milan has finally found a manager willing to play Hossein!!! I personally think tonight's game will have come too soon for Kaebi. But I think he'll get a chance at some point under Holloway.

It depends on his fitness. It would be a big gamble, especially with it being on Sky - and it's going to be an incredibly young team again tonight. Holloway might want to go with Newton's... experience.
mancunianfox Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 If Sheehan can play in midfield so can Kaebi

Well he was mentioned in Holloway's pre-match piece on the OS before the Bristrol game, so it definitely suggests he'll feature at some point.
The Stig Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 I think Kaebi deserves a stab at the first team. I've personally never seen him play but some of the people who I've spoke to who have seen him say he's really promising, and a few say he's not playing all that well.
Ric Flair Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Well he was mentioned in Holloway's pre-match piece on the OS before the Bristrol game, so it definitely suggests he'll feature at some point. Or once Holloway has seen him for longer than a 45 minute training session he'll perhaps realise why he's only made one appearance for us this season? Let's hope Holloway can get the boy playing as well as he clearly can do and that he's brave enough to give him a chance.

At least he'd probably be safer at right midfield although, if Fryatt's out, I still have not the faintest idea why he'd get to the front of the queue ahead of Hume (with Sapp/King up front), Hume (with Sapp/Odhiambo up front) or Odhiambo with Sapp/Hume up front.

Ollie says he likes pacy Iranian wingers
Simi Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 If Richard Stearman can play for England so can I. It's got to be done tonight.
Thracian Posted 26 November 2007 Author Posted 26 November 2007 Ollie says he likes pacy Iranian wingers I think you're getting close.
The Stig Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Whatever happens I have 100% trust in our manager. (I'm making the most of liking the gaffer as you don't get to do it much as a city fan!

(I'm making the most of liking the gaffer as you don't get to do it much as a city fan! That seems fair enough. I'm going to do the same. Even Hullfox seemed uplifted and he's a cynical sod who only really seems to like hardcase, Tiatto-type football but there's just a hint it might be better than that when we get the ball and even I don't mind who gets a whacking while we get it.
Jimmy Posted 26 November 2007 Posted 26 November 2007 Thrac you can't seriously tell me that Kaebi has played any worse then Newton did tonight, fook waiting until Jan release thaty useless ****er now
Calum McDermott Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 I've heard he is starting today.Fact....ish..... where did you hear that?
