Thracian Posted 28 November 2007 Author Posted 28 November 2007 no you prefer to start you own for the next random youth teamer What's random about Chambers, Odhiambo or Gradel? I suggested Gradel on our right before the season started and all three are time-served apprentices who have contributed lots to this club already in terms of honours, goals, assists, appearances, decent performances - and that over a decade or more between them. And you would rather tout some YouTube wonder who's played about 9 games, two of them half decent, who's never scored, had one debateable assist (that wouldn't count in Manwell's book) and has been part of a defence that's leaked like a sieve. Do me a favour.
The People's Hero Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Do me a favour. For the last time NO, YOU CAN'T BORROW MY NEPHEW. NO, NOT EVEN IF IT IS ONLY FOR 10 MINUTES.
Thracian Posted 28 November 2007 Author Posted 28 November 2007 For the last time NO, YOU CAN'T BORROW MY NEPHEW.NO, NOT EVEN IF IT IS ONLY FOR 10 MINUTES. I'm not sure if it's cos you live so close to Brighton but that subject seems forever close to the surface of your mind. It's as if you get off even mentioning it, whether in jest or otherwise. I suppose no-one will ever know but I sure do wonder...

coale39 Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 no you prefer to start you own for the next random youth teamer Then in sig you big up Weso?
mancunianfox Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 no you prefer to start you own for the next random youth teamer The problem is with that argument is that our random youth teamers have all done well this season. Sheehan, Wesolowski, Stearman, Mattock and King have all been better or as good as our summer signings who have been largely dissapointing. Only Chambers and N'Gotty have really improved the squad.
Jimmy Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Then in sig you big up Weso? the difference is he picks people that NO-One but him and very few others have even heard of let alone play, where as my sig is about someone that we all agree is a key player for us, use you loaf in future, he champions people like Louis Dodds
wirralsimon Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Yeah, just under 70 miles.I could barely live closer. Plank. sorry to interrupt this with football matters, but any chace you two could stop hurling insults at each other and get back to the original discussion?

CupidStunt Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 sorry to interrupt this with football matters, but any chace you two could stop hurling insults at each other and get back to the original discussion? No,i am LMFAO here

Stearmans not "played well" not consistantly anyway. Kings hardly played!
Jimmy Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Stearmans not "played well" not consistantly anyway. Kings hardly played! Exactly leaving Wesolowski who has been solid, if unspectacular, Sheehan who has been a pleasant surprise and an inconsistent Mattock
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Thracians not even gone out of his way to get behind Weso and Mattock anyway his faviourates were and always have been Sheehan, Dodds, Porter, King and Gradel.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Thracians not even gone out of his way to get behind Weso and Mattock anyway his faviourates were and always have been Sheehan, Dodds, Porter, King and Gradel. and Elvis (a novice in footballing terms)
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 and Elvis (a novice in footballing terms) I forgot Tommy Tejan-Sunday League as well. What a gem.
Wycombe Fox Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Summary of the Cardiff match from http://persianfootball.com/forums/showthre...highlight=kaabi Game ended 0-0. One thing is clear...LCFC is not a good fit for Kaebi, and his style of play at all..! just a bunch of for most part no talent hackers on both end play way too khar to khar football with no organization and offensive rhythm to it at all..!, they just long ball and hoof the ball in the box in hopes of some lucky rebound or a defensive miscue for a goal..! no proper passing, team play to speak off..they just run their assses off from one end to another with no teammates in proper support or any sense or purpose..! i can see how kaebi would have a hell of a time fitting into such teams....especially considering his tiny stature.....! his idiot agent should be fired for even suggesting such a team or for that matter league to him...especially when EPL caliber clubs were seeking his services..! watched the whole game and i would guess even if he got 90 minutes he would have been rather ineffective....even Hasselbaink a usually quality forward playing for the other side...was totally confused by the run of play and frustrated had to be subbed off..! Check out the other comments!

davieG Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Well I think they got it spot on except the Hasslebank bit because he's a khar!
mancunianfox Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Stearmans not "played well" not consistantly anyway. Kings hardly played! Stearman has played in a couple of games. I certainly don't think that he is the weakest element of the side. I think the fact that he has continued to play regularly says more about the quality of our signings than about Richard Stearman tbh.

ronnup Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 or that we didn't sign enough central midfielders seeing as Stearman's main competition for the RWB slot was forced to play there as cover hard to disagree, explains a lot.
