or that we didn't sign enough central midfielders seeing as Stearman's main competition for the RWB slot was forced to play there as cover

Well it wasn't that we didn't sign enough central midfielders. We signed Kishishev and Hellings as well as Clemence but neither are good enough to play in the first team. Hopefully we will get to see Chambers at RB soon.

Hossein Kaebi is hoping Ian Holloway can kick-start his Leicester City career.

The 22-year-old joined The Foxes in July from Iran giants Persepolis but has since then spent most of his time in the reserve team.

The midfielder is banking on the arrival of new manager Holloway to kick-start his career in England, and show the new coaching staff what he is capable of.

New hope

"Leaving Leicester City is an option, but at the moment I am not thinking about this issue much," Kaebi told Iran Sports Press.

"I haven't made my decision yet. With the new coach appointment in Leicester City, I'm looking forward for a chance to prove myself and hope that my situation changes at the club.

"My agent is set to come to England to talk to Leicester officials. If my time on the bench continues then I will consider leaving City."

You two are hilarious, constantly implying each other is gay when clearly one of you has been married for forty-odd years and the other one wears floral shirts and has highlights in his hair.

Oh wait. :P

He's going to get me back for that but it was definitely worth it. :D

I forgot Tommy Tejan-Sunday League as well. What a gem.

When I look at the reserves midfield this season I still wonder why they ever got rid of Tom Tejan-Sie. Maybe too much of a one position footballer.

Anyway regarding my ratings of the youngsters overall this season I'd hope I'm not biased in any way for or against any particular one. The marks are meant to reflect a combination of performance and realistic expectation.

Sheehan 8 (Has achieved more than even I imagined in establishing himself as a first choice player and being involved in scoring/making so many goals, many of them important. Has improved his weaknesses, worked hard on his strengths, developed some consistency and showed a sense of responsibility. Probably the best results record of anyone in the club.).

Wesolowski 7 (Injury hit but was undoubtedly our best midfielder in the early part of the season and has since returned to be steady enough. For a guy who was totally written off by one now-gone poster he's been an asset and should now look to develop his influence still further).

Stearman 7 (Harshly criticised to some extent. Yes he needs to pass the ball faster, more simply and more accurately but has been a virtual ever present and has done a difficult job well considering he's had no real right winger to help and emergency right midfielders much of the time. Our defensive record, the best in the League, speaks for itself.

Gradel 7 (Out on loan he seems to have been almost ever-present at Bournemouth when fit and to score a 10 rating in a match and be applauded by opposition fans was outstanding. Seems to have held up well against the regours of League football and seems to be increasingly effective).

King 6.5 (He's not played as much as I'd wish but what he's done has been wholly complimentary within the side and having been involved with four matches he's yet to appear on the losing side. Hard to imagine how he could realistically have done much better apart from staying clear of injury).

Mattock 6 (Injury hit season and a shaky start but has recovered to look perfectly competent and at ease in his position. Hopefully more to come now he's back to full fitness).

Dodds 5.75 (Still Lincoln's leading scorer or thereabouts and virtually ever present in the team and earning ratings around th 6-7 mark. His goalscoring seems to have dried up after a goodish start, probably because he seems to be played in midfield or out wide for whatever reason. I was disappointed he went on loan instead of giving himself a chance to break through like Sheehan but an injury at the wrong time didn't help. Hard to imagine he will get a chance now which I still believe to be a pity.

Ashley Chambers 5.75 (I didn't think he'd get a chance but, as the manager said, he sure took it and make people take notice. Has done well in the reserves after serious injury and I hope now that he can finally make the most of his undoubted ability)

Porter 5 (Has done nothing wrong. When he's played he's been dangerous and I only hope he can recover properly from injury and get back to the level he'd reached unscathed).

give him a game, if he's shit, we'll know.

Put it to fooking bed

With George Bush planning to raise Iran to the ground, i sugest he sticks out in the East Midlands

Kaebi is too good a player to be at this club let alone in their reserves. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was placed in the reserves to help foster the development of the other players in the reserves. By doing so they would improve their club and waste one of our talents.

 As if we'd have the luxury anyway

Stearmans not "played well" not consistantly anyway. Kings hardly played!

Stearman's done fine. The evidence is emphasised by the fact that all our many managers this season have picked him and also by our outstandingly grudging goals against record.

King might not have played often but when he has done he's fitted in well, done what's been asked of him, pleased his manager and we've either won or drawn the games.

It was you who caused all this in the first place!!!
You started it all :crylaugh: if i remember correectly it was you who said KAEBI IS COMING TO LEICESTER :crylaugh:

For once I wish I had been wrong :D

I just can't stand all of the "he's too good for them and should be in a premier team".... now and again we all wear our blue tinted glasses. I think these guys must wear these though!!
