Koke Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 What's the point in managers signing contracts if he can just resign like that and leave the fans and club in turmoil. But hey, I ain't complaining. I'm welcoming Ollie with open arms.

dutchfox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Keep telling yourself that. Holloway resigns as Plymouth Manager according to SSN
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Sounds like they're messing us around to get some money out of Mandaric.
Finnegan Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 That's bad news then, surely? That means they're twatting us, or Holloway about? Unless it's Mandaric playing silly buggers and quibbling over compo? Friday's a long wait.

They can choose not to accept the resignation of course. Pretty sure we'll still have to pay up and they can make it difficult for us to get him. Worst case I guess they could not accept the resignation, continue to pay him, put him on gardening leave until his contract expires and get someone else in. They'd be paying two managers and not getting any compensation just to be spiteful but I think it could happen.
Joe. Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Nah they just want to see him and us suffer a bit so they'll leave it until Friday so he can't be in charge of us Saturday.
Foxxxy Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Holloway Resigns from Plymouth (Sky sports news 13-15 Wednesday) Manager interviews should be interesting
Master Fox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Holloway resigns as Plymouth Manager according to SSN I would just like everyone to know that Holloway has resigned!
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 That's been branded about a lot.Although many think he is a 'lower league manager' Correct, but you've got to plan for the future right? Sturrocks is Plymouth, Sturrock took Plymouth from League Two to the Championship. Sturrock loves Plymouth, Plymouth love Sturrock. Sturrock has recently said he wants to retire at Plymouth. Sturrock has recently said he will take the first job offered to him in order to help Swindon who are in Financial dire straights. He's also royally pissed off with all the takeover talks falling through and having players he can't play a result. It's a nail on mate, if Coral are taking bets theres £50 of my money going down on it after work.
Simi Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 I would just like everyone to know that Holloway has resigned! You're shitting me?

As he is still under contract to the club he is not allowed to talk to other clubs.
