Fat Ron Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Ask Dowie Anything, Deadline is 5pm Today!!! So Ian, Now you have lost 10 points and in the bottom 3.... When will you hand your resignation in????
Trumpet Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Im going for a bath and when i return, i expect Cov to be in admin, just like that
RowlattsFox Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Championship side Coventry City have accepted the takeover terms of Ray Ranson's group SISU Capital, which may stop them entering administration. More to follow.
Dames Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Hopefully Ray Ranson becomes broke and they end up in more Doodoo then they are now.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 I always preferred Terry Griffiths anyway.
The People's Hero Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Hopefully Ray Ranson becomes broke and they end up in more Doodoo then they are now. He's a fool anyway - he married that Esther for a start. What poor taste. Esther and now Cov!
lookwhaticando Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 As if you all sat there, fists clenched/pumping, in anticipation of their entering into administration. The whole reason they set the deadline was to force the issue, and it looks like it's worked.
Matt Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 Fuk's sake this was gonna be abit of happiness for the weekend, ahead of another depressing Leicester City shower of shit performance and loss.

The fact it went to the wire makes me think it back fired on them and they didn't get entirely what they wanted or hoped to get
lookwhaticando Posted 14 December 2007 Posted 14 December 2007 The fact it went to the wire makes me think it back fired on them and they didn't get entirely what they wanted or hoped to get They'd have been foolish to expect it to go for as much as they had hoped... but they knew that if a deal didn't go through before administration, they'd have been in line for even less. They made it clear that they were in dire straights... they essentially forced the value of the club downwards in a big way when they declared ready for bankruptcy. If the deadline wasn't met, the club would enter administration, from which it would have been cheaper to buy them (initially). If Ranson had held on for a few days, he could pick the club up for less than he would otherwise.
The Reverend Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Is'nt is funny listening to Ranson going on about their goals - promotion, keeping their best players - sounds very similar to what we heard nearly a year ago.
Father Ted Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 The fat lady still hasn't started singing yet Ha. Hope they go into administration and get relegated.
