davieG Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Some good news Michael Kightly unlikely to be fit to face Leicester CityDec 17 2007 By Paul Berry, Birmingham Mail MICK McCarthy today cautioned against hopes Wolves' talisman Michael Kightly would be fit for the weekend's visit of Leicester by admitting: "He might be out for another fortnight." After a couple of abortive attempts to return to training following the ankle injury picked up at Albion, Kightly is keeping fingers crossed he might be able to be involved in Saturday's teatime kick off providing there is an improvement. McCarthy though is not getting carried away, and clearly isn't banking on using Kightly or indeed Jody Craddock until both are definitely ready. "We know we miss a lot with Kites not playing because he teakes people on and gets the ball up the field," McCarthy acknowledged after Saturday's 0-0 draw at QPR. "But he might be a couple of weeks yet.

Tommy G Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I wonder how many city fans are realistically going to go and watch this? Madness, perhaps a boycott is the way forward

Koke Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 For those who are going to Molineux, I have the upmost respect for you lot. I can't see more than 500 Leicester fans there for more than one reason.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 The Wolves strike-force of Eastwood, Keogh, Elliott and Bothroyd have scored less goals this season than our strikeforce of Hume, Fryatt, John and Campbell No doubt they will all kick-start thier season on saturday
Staf Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I dont feel very confident ahead if this i say 2-1 Wolves
kidder_wolf Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I dont feel very confident ahead if this i say 2-1 Wolves Our only half decent CB is injured (craddock) our only attacking midfielder is still injured ( kightly) and our only good striker (eastwood) doesnt get picked. Add to the fact we have a manager who's tactics are clueless i really cant see us winning.

You're not helping I remember my lad saying how Southampton had stacks of injuries and would be lucky to get a draw against Leicester. And talking to Hull fans who didn't sound confident about their mob either. Can't you just tell us how brilliant your lot are?
Simi Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 There is a training match tomorrow morning at 11am. All the first teamers against each other, if anyone is interested in going down.
