Ultra Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 I cannot think of one logical reason why we should win but football has never worked on logic. If Holloway's managed to change the mood from that which pervaded Hull and the City Ground I'll say 1-0 to Leicester with Fryatt showing he's not inclined to move over for Ashley Chambers just yet. If anyone wants to argue that I've completely off my rocker with this prediction I can only accept what they say. But Holloway has the most unenviable task this Christmas [except perhaps for Paul Jewell? ], football wise, and I don't think he needs to see the fans predicting another setback. We won at Bristol City and I'm bloody sure we can win at Wolves with the right team and the right comeraderie. :scarf: I didn't see too much cameraderie at Hull last week and with eight of the squad having apparently been shown the door, I very doubt we'll see it tomorrow. This season, as last, the team goes to Molineux in the midst of a dire run of form. They may surprise and delight us all, as Hammond and Porter did last year, but I really cannot see lightning striking twice in the same place. However, we do have an unbeaten run going back to last season in front of the Sky cameras..
MC Prussian Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 It's Wolves. It's Christmas season. Barber will be commentating. DJ's out. Team morale's low. A large bunch of players won't give 100 percent anymore, because they've been deservedly told to bugger off someplace else. And we've lost four out of our last five league games. Depressing pre-match facts. I know. I'll still tune in to BBC Radio Leicester and follow the action. Oh, I'm such a masochist.

It's a long time ago but I remember watching my missus get totally outclassed by a young England international at Squash Leicester once. This superfit kid was twisting her backwards and forwards like a kite in a gale. She lost the first two sets to nothing and not-a-lot in barely 15 minutes. But she won the match and her distraught opponent had no idea how it happened. Point is there's always something you can do no matter how steeply the odds seem to be stacked. Like Wycombe when they played us in the Cup? Good chance for Ollie to earn his wages tomorrow.
Koke Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Wolves are no West Brom. Not even close. A very good team, yes, but they are not doing very well at the moment and they can't score for shit. I won't be surprised if we got something out of the game.
Ashley Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 If I was picking the team tomorrow i'd want it something like this. Fulop Mattock Kisnorbo McAuley J.Chambers Sheehan Weso Clemence Kaebi Hume John

mmarkie Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Fulop?/Henderson Cox Macauley Kisnorbo Mattock Kaebi King Clemence© Sheehan John Fryatt Ollie said he was impressed by cox so maybe hell be in the team
Simi Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Fulop?/HendersonCox Macauley Kisnorbo Mattock Kaebi King Clemence© Sheehan John Fryatt Ollie said he was impressed by cox so maybe hell be in the team I really do hope that you are no right. He looks extremely lightweight and I fear that playing him would crush him.
Thracian Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 I really do hope that you are no right. He looks extremely lightweight and I fear that playing him would crush him. Being impressed by Cox doesn't mean its good to put him in the team too soon. Not that I think he's the sort to be "crushed". Of the five games I've watched he was among the best three players in the Academy play-offs final, was close to MoM against Blackburn in the youth cup and about the only one who could hold his head up after coming on a a substitute in a six-goal thrashing against West Brom Reserves. The bit he played City played their best football and finally stiffled the visitors rampant attack. That doesn't suggest he's a guy who easily panics or gets stage fright. Ollie I imagine will keep him in reserve as an option if there's any repeat of the suicidal defending which cost us the Hull match. My feeling is he'll go for something like: Fulop Chambers, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Mattock Hume, King, Kenton, Clemence, Sheehan Cort Subs: Stearman, Clemence, Hayes, Fryatt, John.
Manager Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 My feeling is he'll go for something like: Fulop Chambers, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Mattock Hume, King, Kenton, Clemence, Sheehan Cort Subs: Stearman, Clemence, Hayes, Fryatt, John. He won't play Mattock and Sheehan together - he has changed that at half time for the last two games. He will put Hayes in and play one of them at left full, with the other on the bench.
Bluemoon Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 could be talking about us really. Personally I'd rather be doing as well as them. Without Kightly, they're eminently beatable. I'm up for the Ollie attacking mode myself. Their fans start getting on their backs if they fall behind.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 December 2007 Posted 21 December 2007 Game is Live at 415am tomorrow morning i can't wait. I'm predicting a draw as the last 5 leicester games on tv have been either 1-1 or 0-0

He may have subbed Sheehan cos of bookings and, while you may be right, I saw nothing from Hayes at Nottingham to suggest he's likely to get a first team slot. But then everone had a bad day.
Candidcamera Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 If Weso is fit I would play King and Weso and drop Clemence. Give the captancy to Kisnorbo. Restore Stearman. Clemence on the bench to fight for a place.
Teammelli Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Any way of watching the game on the internet? http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=...amp;part=sports
