FleckneyFox Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 These are key if you look at them and i think they decide if we are in a relegation scrap or if we have mid table security. QPR - Away - Glad we're playing them at start of Janurary before they can bring good players with their billions Coventry - Home - Big local derby hopefully we'll get behind the boys and they'll play for the shirt Norwich - Away - Tough game Norwich are down there with us but seem to be coming back into form Crystal Palace - Home - Playing well at the moment they'll be tough to crack Blackpool - Away - Another bottom of the table battle we'll want 3 points but Blackpool playing ok recently (2nd Feb) So after Charlton we're playing teams down there with us hopefully if we avoid defeat to Charlton we can start a good run and get ourselves up to midtable.
WetFlannel Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 QPR - Winnable but tricky Coventry - Winnable Norwich - More than Winnable Palace - Tricky Blackpool - Winnable Im expecting a few points from now, plus we will have additions to our squad
Jack Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 QPR - Win Coventry - Draw Norwich - Draw Palace - Lose Blackpool - Win Im going for 8 points out of the 15.

Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Now who doesn't read the posts 'eh Yes, I did see that. So why is the thread title January fixtures, spelt wrong by the way. Lets just call the QPR match a December fixture.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 QPR - Lose Coventry - Draw Norwich - Draw Palace - Win Blackpool - Win

Steven Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 These are key if you look at them and i think they decide if we are in a relegation scrap or if we have mid table security. You mean the Playoffs.
Monk Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I feel like we are past the worst, we can move onwards and upwards but I am very very cautious about trying to predict anything in an optimistic manner. If we lose those games then we will be in big trouble. However, there is no reason we cannot take 3 points from any one of those fixtures judging by the last 2 performances.

Hmmmmmm I've lost count of the times I thought we were 'past the worst' in the last couple of seasons. I'm reserving judgement for now.
WetFlannel Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I think 9 or 10 points is within our sights if we make some good signings...
lavrentis Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 QPR - Draw Coventry - Win Norwich - Win Palace - Draw Blackpool - Win 11 points.
lildave3 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 All big games. Can't see us taking anything from Palace, but others are winnable. Norwich and Blackpool are pretty much must wins.
dog_4 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Who knows what the results will be, Hopefully get 3/4 quality players and string a run together throughout the new year.
The Stig Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 QPR Draw Coventry Win Crystal Palace Draw Norwich Win Blackpool Loss
RowlattsFox Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Every one of these games are winnable but all these teams will be saying the same thing about playing us. Its an opportunity to get a run together to make sure we finish comfortably.
He's not bald Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I'm going for 10 points out the possible 15 Think I'll go for 10 pints as well!
Asha Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Despite our poor home record, we haven't played that many shit teams at home. The likes of S****horpe, Colchester, Norwich, Preston etc. still need to come. The only team down there that we have played at home is QPR, and i doubt they'll be down there for long.
MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 So far, this season has proven that anyone can beat anyone. There are no favourites, no big names. Look at S****horpe and Bristol City. Nobody would've predicted they'd end up that high halfway through the season. I agree that with the right additions (some wingers and one or two proper strikers) and a good team spirit (depending on the Charlton game outcome), we can pull it off. It's best to approach this game by game. Everything else is for the trash bin.

MC Prussian Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 They're below us Scunny had a decent run at the beginning of the season and are - what? - behind us because of their goal difference. Hardly anything to be proud of as a Leicester City fan. But you're right. I should've listed 'Pool up there. Bloody Tangerines.
