Daniel O'Donnell just scored for Crewe - I wonder if he sings when he's winning

Three goals from the six yard box indicates completely that the goalkeeper has to take most of the blame.

if the man is unmarked in the six yard box, what can the goalie do...

howard and fryatt could have got us something from this game, it's a team performance and it sounds like today no one has really done their job well (including henderson, no doubt), and the team performance has suffered

Its just not our day I think...

Heads up, sounds like Howard and Hayles made their defense work. But back in the relegation zone is worrying....

I think the fact we played with 2 "strikers" as 2 "wingers" says it all :frusty:

Yes.....we have a donkey as a manager

Note to Piper, how can the two new boys do alright, then the heads go down when we go 1-Nil down? We were already losing when Howard came on.

To be fair, Piper's there, you're not.

I don't like judging from radio commentary because Barber usually talks a lot of shite most of the time, but even his commentary can't hide the fact that we have created chances (as may as QPR have) and had about even possession. So even if we lose this, and it still looks like we will, I'll wait to hear from the guys and girls who went before I get too downbeat...

I wasn't saying we're neccesarily playing badly - it's just that 3 goals in 30 mins is a tough ask for any team, let alone a team that hasn't scored four goals in a game all season.

You don't see too many comebacks from 3-0 down.

So did we want him in or out - your comment implies both.

:dunno:

Wednesday justed scored.....now officially in bottom three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should be helpful in persuading any midfielders we are after to sign for us ! Really happy and feckin' hell it's back to work tomorrow - incidentally I'm expected to produce results or I'd be sacked. Sort of concentrates the mind on getting the job done unlike the collection of feeble characters we seem to be lumbered with.

Looking forward to a lot more work being done on the training ground and many protestations of "we've go to stick together and we need to step up to the plate" etc etc blah blah.

piper is really quite awefull !

he says to be honest sooo many times.

sounded on the radio like howard and hayles were trying hard.

If we are stepping up to the plate in training perhaps thats the problem...practising for the wrong sport! :giggle:

The new players have sounded alright but you've got to give em the backing of people who create things and get the ball in the box. People who support properly.

How many balls did we hear being crossed into the box by Chambers and Hume?

How many from Mattock?

What attacking influence did N'Gotty and Clemence have? You just cannot have so many departments ineffective in terms of our forward drive.
