Joe. Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Sheehan, our messiah arrives. This games already won for us.
Thracian Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Sheehan, our messiah arrives. All he'll get out of this is a defeat on his record but don't you lot get smug. A good many of you wanted him out of the team for the defensively more reliable Mattock even though a poll suggest more than twice as many fans preferred Sheehan as a starter.
Foxes 2 da grave Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Why has Jimmy Nielsen got the number 1 shirt if he never gets played is he injured or still living abroad and waiting for a phonecall from milan?
Solihullfox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 All he'll get out of this is a defeat on his record. Are you his Dad or something ?
Hullfox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 I'll bet Sheehan will love coming off at 3-1 down. Has he been taken off again? Two games in succession that's harsh.
Joe. Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Has he been taken off again? Two games in succession that's harsh. I think he's come on hasn't he?
Lillehamring Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 To be fair, Piper's there, you're not.I don't like judging from radio commentary because Barber usually talks a lot of shite most of the time, but even his commentary can't hide the fact that we have created chances (as may as QPR have) and had about even possession. So even if we lose this, and it still looks like we will, I'll wait to hear from the guys and girls who went before I get too downbeat... true, as ever people on are here too quick to assume certain things, barber is way too unreliable to form an opinion on what he says... but even without barber, how can people be so quick to slaughter henderson for this result, yes maybe he was, but how can people simply say it's all his fault, that we can't defend because everyone is unconfident playing in front of him - plenty of times this season the defense have had woeful performances in front of fulop... lets just wait and see who the blame really lies with, to me it seems like QPR have been sublime at taking their chances....
Sly Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Why has Jimmy Nielsen got the number 1 shirt if he never gets played is he injured or still living abroad and waiting for a phonecall from milan? He's a poor excuse for a goalkeeper and as one of the players told me, "they'd rather play their Grandad in nets, than let him play". He's awful in the air and couldn't catch a cold. Allen gave him the number 1 shirt.
Collymore Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 I really like Piper so I'm not having a go at him. I just think him and Barber must be the worst possible combination ever.....
Sly Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Henderson can't be blamed for this. The keeper is the last line of defence, what about the four people in front of him?

Thracian Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Are you his Dad or something ? I'm nothing whatsoever to do with him but there's nothing worse for attackers than to have try to repair the damage of a game already 7/8ths lost when they get on the field. Like Hullfox I'm surprised he hasn't been taken off by now. Now Holloway's complaining about time wasting. Short memory the bloke's got.

So did we want him in or out - your comment implies both.

It sounds like QPR are creating a lot of chances out of nothing, so the defence must be making mistakes. So you could think the uncertainty without Fulop could be villain behind this. I'm sure Ollie will sort us out, but QPR are in a rebuilding phase too, and we should be able to compete with them. But when you get 2 quick goals, it will do loads for your confidence and thats properly what happend today. But we havent conceded 3 since Chelsea though......

Do you mean that Sheehan is an attacker ? Dealing with difficult situations forms part of the learning process for any young footballer and it's vital for his growth both physically and mentally to see how Sheehan behaves in the face of adversity.
l444ry Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Three goals from the six yard box indicates completely that the goalkeeper has to take most of the blame.
Bluemoon Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Dodds just scored for Lincoln. Wednesday justed scored.....now officially in bottom three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sly Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 Three goals from the six yard box indicates completely that the goalkeeper has to take most of the blame. Depends, if two defenders were marking the man that scored, I'd blame the defenders. If no one was marking the attacker, I'd blame the defender again.

Sounds like Sheehan's laid a sitter on for Fryatt which he's managed to miss from four yards.
thybluefox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 How many chances are we going to miss?! This is ridiculous.
